No Subeta time for me last few days.. work work.. work. Now finally some Subeta time. Doing as much quests as I can. Feel a bit weird if I did only one.
Honestly I would prefer a day of wizard giving out 50pt wizard tokens day but at least this has me actually doing my wizards quests.
I wish people would not get so worked up over fun events like these :( Let people go at their own pace and do the amount they want/are able to. I know it sucks if we don't reach our goal, but let's not be snarky, eh? I'm doing as many as I can, but I do have a job I need to focus on, and I completely understand people who haven't been able to participate much! 😊

It's silly to chastise people for only doing one or a few quests, come on guys there are only so many you can do in a day, all this "hauling your own weight" mentality is silly when you have a pretty low cap per day anyway. It's not like you who are saying you're working so hard, are doing a thousand quests a day. :/ Let people do what they can/want to. Like someone else said, making the rewards cap higher means more people will do 0 quests.

I'm sorry if my post had anything to do with it, I definitely wasn't trying to guilt anyone. I'm all for everyone getting a prize. Why not, it's no skin off my nose. ^_^ Plus it's just pixels. Also I completely understand RL being an asshole and getting in the way of doing what we want to do. <3 I was just trying to come up with a way for people to motivate each other so the people who legitimately can barely manage to get one quest done don't even have to worry about guilt because the rest of us would be pushing so hard that people who chose to do 1 out of not caring wouldn't even hold the total down. Though seeing your post I wonder if being able to see each other's totals might have that same guilt inducing effect for some... :/ So maybe not. Or maybe the option to show/hide your total? I don't know. It's probably good as is. lol
And honestly, it already feels like that's where we're at. We're blowing it away once again! WOO! GO QUESTERS! EVERY QUEST COUNTS! hehe done shouting
In the time it took you to write that post, you could have done two quests. (I'm kidding by the way) But honestly, there is a difference in those who actually have irl things to do and those who outright post "I'm only going to do one because I don't care, BUT I WANT THE PRIZE ANYWAY."
All in all, if people are posting crap like "I'm only doing one and everyone can do the rest" then those who are working hard can post their frustration. Let people get their frustration out because others throw it in their faces that they don't care. It sucks when someone looks at you and says "I'm getting this even though I'm not doing anything because I just don't want to, but you'll do all the work and I'll be rewarded." I've missed out on a lot of stuff on this site because of irl things, but I know I'm doing what I can when I can.
I'm guessing if we don't, then we just won't receive all of the prizes but maybe just one?
I just want to know if we can still get the forum title in some other way (Maybe next year) if we don't reach it in time.
We'll do it, we always come out on top in the end :) We're too determined not to.

Glad to see we made it to the halfway point! I've been doing as many quests as I can with my slow internet. Hopefully, despite the Holiday weekend for people in the US, we can make it all the way to 750k. It's a long shot for sure, but maybe enough people will do quests that we reach our goal.

Can we please stop worrying about how many quests someone else does? Do all of your quests, try your hardest, and tell your friends to do the same. If someone else does one quest and gets the same prize, that's no big deal :x
the overwhelming majority of commenters are complaining about users who have the time but choose not to put in the effort because "everyone else will take care of it", an unfortunate side effect of participation rules that benefit people who CAN'T do more than one quest. I don't think anyone wants to shame people who have limited access to the site.

I felt guilty for not being able to do much quests before this post. Even more after reading the reminder and realising I hadn't had time yet at all to participate and I felt entirely ashamed when I read the comments here.
Teamwork? More like shame everyone who doesn't have loads of time. (other players I mean, not staff).
Oooh, we're halfway! :D We're cutting it close though... we're halfway though the event time wise. Hopefully, the weekend allows more users to be on and help us boost the numbers.
Also, the Sarah bobblehead is still bothering me. :x
I've been on hiatus from subeta for a little while but when I got the newsletter about the quest-a-thon I made an effort to come back. I've been pretty sick and am usually confined to my bed so the best thing I can use to access Subeta is my tablet (I don't have a laptop). It takes some getting used to and everything takes a little longer to do but I'm making it work. But my inventory fills up so fast and it takes me so long to go through the items. I'm trying to do all my quests but it quite literally takes me all day. I'm doing my best, I hope we make it. c:

Also apologies for multiple comments to this post already BUT maybe there could be a way the next time (hopefully there's a next time!) in this event to somehow make Sarah an eligible quest for everyone and not just newbies? Because honestly even when you're starting out, Sarah is pretty quickly surpassed with her limit, and it would be great to be able to add 10 more quests to our daily total. Again, just for this event!

I wish there was some way to show other users how many you've done. Whether it be a highscore type page where we can look each other up, or just listed on our profile somehow. That way we could do user-run contests to help motivate everyone. Like I could put on a contest where the person who does the most quests gets 100CSC and the next three get WL grabs, or since most everyone would tie at the max you could WL grab all the maxed out people and put them in a random generator for the CSC and then to encourage people who can't do ALL the quests, there could be tiers where doing x amount of quests gets you 1000 tokens, or something from the recycle beast shop or forum shop or.. you get the point. If we could see each others' quest totals, it would motivate people to not be lazy when they actually can help more. While the 1 quest minimum would still stand to include people who really can't do more and they'd still get the awesome rewards.
Yeah, no one is saying that if you have things going on in your life or can't get a connection, that that's what the thing that bothers them is about participation. Life happens, people run into things, take care of yourselves guys. But, the thing that is annoying are those that keep going "I can be lazy, I'll do the 1 quest and wait until you all finish it for me!" Then its not really a team building thing. Real life/getting busy vs laziness are two completely different things :) Good luck to those that can!

I think we'll be able to do it, we've hit the 150k a day mark consistently so far. And we're close to today's 400k end goal.
Why does it matter if someone does only one quest? It's not like for every person that does a quest the total amount goes up. It doesn't matter. These people would probably be the ones that if there was a higher limit they'd do nothing.
I think it's better to specify a 1 quest minimum because it allows more people to participate though. The truth is, people are going to be busy and that means that everyone on the site might not have the time to do all the quests or do more than the bare minimum. This allows them to participate without scrambling to do all the quests for participation.
Do you guys know if I can still get the cash back bonus if I use my credit card to pay for CSC?
also, if EVERYONE did the maximum amount of quests, it would take a little over 1,111 people in order to get this done on time. so when you're only participating with one or two quests, just think about that number.

Oh no Amber, I completely understand people have busy lives outside of Subeta, I'm one of them XD. So believe me, I know. I'm speaking to the ones who are just being lazy for no reason other than to be lazy and do one quest. I mean if many know all they have to do is one quest to get the prizes, then of course some are just going to allow others to do the hard earned work. If it wasn't for us pet slot maniacs, forum-point people, or those who love to collect titles, we probably wouldn't be nearly as far as we are XD.
We're not adding any more prizes; the prizes stated in each news post are what will go out if you guys complete the goal. This isn't a competition or a contest to see who can do the most / etc. It's a community event, cheer on your fellow users to do more!
