Quest-A-Thon Coming Soon!

Starting tonight, Wednesday the 29th, at 12:00am until Sunday July 3rd at 11:59pm we will be having a site wide Quest-A-Thon!

You will be working with your fellow users to get 750,000 quests completed during this 5 day period. You will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Carl, Cinthia, Mori or Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Sarah, and The Wizard. Just a reminder that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver and Gold Account users can complete 15 quests.

Just like last time, we will have a progress bar on the news page so everyone can track how you’re doing! If the goal gets completed, everyone that participated will receive 1 new pet slot, the forum title Quest-ionable, and 5 forum points! Participation means doing at least one quest.

During the Quest-A-Thon, we’ll be having a special on Cash Shop Credits! Any cash shop credits you purchase, you’ll be getting double back. That means if you purchase 10 dollars worth of credits, instead of just getting 1000 you’ll be getting 2000. This is only for the duration of the Quest-A-Thon, so take advantage of it while you can.

Make sure to get your friends online and cheer them on so the goal gets completed! Good luck everyone.

This is so exciting! To break down the math for everyone: We have 5 days to complete the quests. 750,000 / 5 = a total of 150,000 quests per day.

Regular users can max 80-100 quests per day. GA users can max 120-150 quests per day.

(The smaller numbers here are if Sarah/Sagittarius are skipped; the larger numbers are if Sarah/Sagittarius are both completed. Note: IIRC to do Sarah you need less than 500k, to do Sagittarius you need over 750k.)

Most regular users will average 90/day (Sarah is often skipped), and GA users 135. I don't know the ratio of GA to non-GA users on the site, but if we do the division, we will need anywhere from around 1100 to 1600 users to participate every single day as much as they can.

There's about 800-900 users online at any given moment, so I think this is totally doable. Let's DO IT! Also, having a GA helps a LOT, so if anyone would like a discounted GA courtesy of myself just let me know. :)

I was just silently complaining to myself that I needed another pet slot too omg yay. I've also only ever purchased CSC once and never pictured myself doing it again but that is an intriguing deal...I'll have to think about it.

does anyone remember how many quests it was for last year's quest-a-thon? i seem to remember it was less than 750k (i'm guessing that we did too well on that one so we got them to raise the bar :P better be more careful this time) exciting news though, you can bribe me with a forum title + pet slot combo any day.
