Masquerade 2016!

Are you ready to dance? The Annual Masquerade Ball has begun and will be an non-stop party until 11:59pm on April 3rd! The Masquerade Forum will be open until 11:59pm on the 4th, so you have a bit of time to work out any contests you might run!

Migrating Masks has reopened for the holiday season. Make sure to grab a mask and put it on before you start dancing. After all, it is a masquerade. ;)

Note: Any item with the word ‘mask’ in the title should work for dancing!

For those of you that are new to the holiday, when you dance with people you receive either lounge trinkets or steamworks trinkets, which can be spent in the Libertine Lounge or the Steamworks Menagerie!

This is only the first wave of items for the Menagerie! There will be more items added later in the event.

Make sure to grab everything you want from the Menagerie listed under the year 2012 tab! We will be retiring all of those items at the end of the event.

Keep alert while dancing, you never know when you’ll be challenged to a duel by Boudewijn! If you happen to best him, you’ll receive a bag of trinkets. Don’t worry, he won’t hurt you if you happen to lose.

The error seems to be with any mask. I am using one I just got from the mask shop and I am still getting the error. I am sure it will be fixed soon.

Oh No! You need to be wearing a mask to be permitted into the Masquerade. I'm so sorry! Perhaps you could pick up one from Migrating Masks?

I started out asking people to dance alright and now its telling me I'm not wearing a mask and giving me the error and idgi?

What said -- put on a mask, tried to dance, was told I needed to be wearing a mask. Put on a different mask, tried to dance, and got the message that I had asked someone to dance and I had five minutes until I could dance again. Waited five minutes, tried to dance again, then got the message that I needed to be wearing a mask.

Yeah its working for me again, too, I had to change masks. Unfortunately my entire HA is gone now and I can't get it back because I had to use wardrobe Lol But happy token hunting :)

No? It’s shorter than the actual dance time, according to the file I’m looking at. We don’t make it like 2-3 minutes until near the end. I just pushed a change though, so hopefully you guys don't have that issue again!
