Costume Trunks are Back!

Have you ever wanted just one specific item from a Costume Trunk rather than the whole thing? Well now’s your chance! Like the Boutique sets are set up, you can now buy an entire costume trunk OR buy individual pieces from a trunk! When you purchase the entire set, you will be awarded the trunk, which you can open and choose between the female items or male.

We have a special running until March 20th at 11:59pm where if you have a gold account you get one trunk free! Any time from now until March 20th, if you have a gold account activated you will be able to redeem one free trunk. You can not, however, add it to the cart feature to claim this free trunk, you’ll have to grab it directly from the page!

If you're getting your free trunk (or buying one), you get to pick to open and pick either the male or female items. If you just want a few items here and there you can buy them individually, but the straight up trunk is one side or the other.

So, when it says I have to choose between the male stuff and the female stuff, does that mean it's completely one side or the other? Or can I pick some from the female side and some from the male? Cause I want the Neverending Story trunk, but Falcor the luck dragon, even tho he really belongs on the male side, just has to be on the female side! And I'd rather dress up as Atreyu (the male stuff) than the Childlike Empress (the female stuff).

I had given my Tacky Jewelry Box to someone, so she would be able to replace the only she had borrowed for IH quest. Since then, I have been hoping this item would come back on site somehow.

Thank you Subeta for your generousness. I really love the new option to buy pieces, this makes life so much more lovely for me as sometimes I only want a couple things. Next also, THANK YOU for a way to spend small amounts of uneven CSC, I never know how I get it, but it drives me nuts that its sits there and this is again another great option.

To the grumps, I dont think I need to repeat any of the statements people made. Its true you can survive on sP alone. In fact the only thing I spend real money on...is MY GOLD ACCOUNT. Which I buy in 2 month splurts. All my cws, cash shop items, etc. is done through sP. You can earn at least 5 mil a day doing quests. Through that in your shop...make at least 1.5 mil a day. This is doeable.

I like Subeta in fact because IT OFFERS you a game point to real money option! A lot of sites dont do that. So...Its a good thing :) and if your still mad...well....go get some chocolate. :)

100 comments, huh? How can people complain about elitism when everyone is able to afford a GA? They give us over a week time, with daily quests that's 1 week GA easy. Not quite sure why you would award this kind of behaviour, but whatever I guess.

With the combination of doing all of your daily quests and selling the items you get, anyone could easily get a 1 week gold account in about 3 days. That's... not that bad. At all. Why are people even compplaining? it isn't "elitism." The site needs money to stay up. Where do you think the money comes from?

Gaia is like one year older than Subeta, and there were complaints about Gaia's economy within a couple of years. I joined Subeta in 2005 and its had a GA option since before then. I can understand some of the complaints about the sp/csc conversion rate in the last couple of years (even if I don't totally agree with them), but I wouldn't say Gaia's and Subeta's business models are a good comparison regardless.

If you want to talk about hypocrisy, how about we talk about how you're complaining about your budget in the same breath that you're asking Subeta's staff to forfeit income to the site that pays their bills? This site isn't cheap to run. Despite it being a popular topic to complain about, GAs along with other CSC purchases pay for a LOT more than vacations.

I recently sold a one week gold account medal for sp and people do sell the regular monthly gold account medals for sp. I netted a nice 11 million in my shop till for it actually.

The fact is, most items on site and in general can be gained just as well with sp; it's just a matter of saving up the sp necessary to get it. If this were anything like gaia, the vast amount of profit could ONLY be gained via cash and not sp. It's still perfectly possible to make a nice tidy profit via quests, battling, vending and other means without ever having paid real money for it on site. Heck, even csc can be bought via gift cards and bought from user shops with sp. Yeah, it's not cheap, but it can be done though.

Wow, this is pretty generous. I got the Legendary Chest, finally I have the male and female versions. I like having the option of buying one item out of a trunk, there are a few items I've neglected to get because I didn't want to buy the whole trunk.

@ jasper Btw, I purchase all my CSC with sp and I have tons of CWs and I am always able to afford my gold account medal, AND I have around 500 mill in my vault at the moment, so it's not like you need to sell a kidney to enjoy the site. Just do your quests daily.

Poverty is a serious problem, and sure, buying a virtual item is a luxury, but to compare the luxury purchase of a virtual item on a pet site to the poverty issue is a little insensitive to people living in poverty. All of that said, a gold account can easily be obtained for free through making sP through questing. It takes time, but that's the nature of it. It would be cool for everyone to have gold account benefits, but that's not how it works unfortunately! This is an incentive to keep the site going. It's not intended to be elitist, it's intended to help bring money in for the site so that it can stay free for those users who cannot afford to put money into it by utilizing users who can afford to put money into it.

Internet is a luxury that costs more than 5$ a month (unless you steal uncle Larry's internet). I qualify to be a poor college student. However, you have a choice to buy CSC with money or sP. I can't go to an hospital and say "Here, would you take my 500m to pay for this please?" Everything is a choice in life. The world is capitalism and I can't see why Subeta wouldn't do like everyone else. I get your point, but I also get theirs.
