Cure To Immature Virus Strains

Are you unhappy with your disease? Perhaps you’re not a fan of our more fungi-friendly diseases of this year or the aquatic delights of last year. I’ve found a way to remove your immature virus strain, all for the lowly cost of 1,000,000 sP! What is an immature virus strain? It’s the stages of your virus where you aren’t able to bite anyone! So you have some time to decide if you want to keep your strain or not, just don’t wait too long of course.

You have until February 29th at 11:59 pm to sign up for a strain through my Volunteer Infection Program. Don’t worry if you still have a strain in progress when I close the program for the year, you’ll still work your way to a full-fledged zombie!

Note: If you happened to get a new virus after your first one turned into an unlockable skin in your wardrobe without signing up for another one, please file a ticket!

It says "if you aren't able to bite anyone" so I think the button's only visible for stages 1-5.

I can't see where to buy it.. someone said the top of the VIP page but I don't see anything and tried three browsers. Will it only show if you are partially infected?

Okay so if I cancelled my strain and asked to be bitten will I be able to receive the bite? Because it says no biting in the forum I'm confused. Sorry double posting in a row.

I thought the biting achievement had been retired because despite biting a lot last year and as much as possible today my achievement still says 0 for spreading my disease to other users. Or I just have really bad luck.

I have no idea if i have another one besides lobster face, since it's the only one that I see on my avatar, but when Doom Bloom turned into a skin earlier today visiting the page told me I would be paired with an infection specialist before I even chose my new strain, and after i was fully infected with Lobster Face, i got two notifications, though I only see Lobster face on my Avatar atm, is that something I should worry about and file a ticket for or since i only see the strain i paid for, i wasnt affected / it was just a display issue? idk :x

There are people who are open to a lot of viruses, but don't want certain ones (like 'everything but blood rush') who are then getting what they didn't want because of biters. It is a risk to do that, but still... the price seems a little high for that kind of thing. Or even if people had picked blood rush before it was released fully (which is a moot point now, but for next year and such). I just feel like having it be the same price as 2009 zombies seems a bit much.

People can’t just bite anyone they feel like! For example, I can only bite people with this specific virus (which they’ve chosen) OR people that have chosen the free random option.

who is getting bitten against their will? You have to sign up in order to get bitten, and those who were in the gap that just got fixed can file a ticket to get sorted out.

looks like Turokai answered your question before I could. but yeah, if you got infected without signing up for a new one, file a ticket. They pushed a fix for this earlier so it shouldn't happen again :)

See that was exactly what I was thinking. Like, it's cool that we now have a way to remove it but when people are just going around biting whoever they can for the achievement and not taking into consideration what that person actually wants as a virus, this is a pretty crappy option. I didn't pick it and now I have to pay to get it removed and pay again for the one I want? That not sitting well with me.

Very nice! A lot of people have been wanting this! , Don't worry, you have to sign up to be infected for someone to be able to bite you. If you got bitten without signing up, file a ticket to get it fixed -no charge.

It’s more for those that might’ve gotten one they already have via the random option or one that they really really don’t like (maybe they aren’t a fan of blood or something), so they don’t have to deal with seeing it progress on their avatar!

you're not supposed to get bitten unless you've volunteered for a strain. So you should be fine since they fixed the issue, and the news post does say to file a ticket if you're one of those affected.

Oh they did something about that? How do I undo it then because someone bit me to spite me after I commented I was glad to be done with the strain I had. -_- I'd like to undo it before it gets going.

While I approve of this idea, I do not approve of the price. People who were infected against their will are dropping that much to undo it? Not cool man. Not cool. :I Especially when the older viruses are the same prices to GET one as it remove a newer viruses. Seems off to me.
