We don't actually have that information. Braintree (which is owned by paypal) has it saved on their server (and it doesn't even have it saved, they don't have your entire credit card #, just the has that they can use to process payments forward) and sends us the last four digits to display on that page. It's actually more secure this way because you aren't submitting your card number over and over again :)

I tried this out since there was an item in the braintree shop that I wanted, and I have to say I'm not at all a fan of the fact that my card info is saved on the payments page. Change the saved info thing to be an option for people who are comfortable with it; I see this as a huge security issue. Especially since I can't even take my card info off this page without putting on another card.
This should help a lot of people...course like others I'd already bought my csc for the month...UGH! lol

i totally get that. i actually honestly thought i'd set an option where it wouldn't be saved until i could figure out a way to let people explicitly save payment methods (ie how stripe is set up), but i must have done it wrong :(

I love this so much, thank you!! I live in Europe and I actually had to wait 10 days and then file a ticket every time I ordered CSC with paypal (and I don't have a credit card). And I just ordered CSC with brain tree and got them a second later <3 amazing! This means a lot more cash shop for me in the future.

ANYONE USING NOSCRIPT. You need to allow "braintreegateway.com" on the Buy CSC page in order to see all the buttons and forms correctly.
is there a way to force the paypal button to reappear each time? (I don't want it to automatically connect to my paypal account without me having to add my word)
you have to wait for the actual form to load. for some reason they have it set up where the pay button shows before the rest of it, which i can't change, but when it finishes loading the form has a paypal button and a credit card number/info form.
So Can I get credit now even though I bought through pp before your annoucement? Cause well $30 is a bit of money, you know!
Good thing I have to buy more CSC this weekend anyway. :'D Can't wait to be able to collect items I never thought I'd be able to get! xD
How do I do that then? As I said in my last post, when I clicked the "Pay" button I just got a "Thanks" message. There was no option to go through PayPal as I normally do.

you can continue to use paypal. it will just be processed on our end through braintree (which is a paypal company). :)
also, though, you've never had to store your payment info with stripe unless you were signing up for a subscription.
Pretty exciting. Literally bought csc only a few hours ago. But I'm still hyped to get a couple of items I've missed previously. I'd love some new relish items though..... ;)

I clicked the "Pay" button to take a look at the new option. I just got a "Thanks" message about receiving CSC when payment is verified or something. But I have no payment options saved.
Also, I DO NOT WANT my payment info saved to my account. There's a reason I never used Stripe. I feel safer going through PayPal and having to enter my details every time. Do we HAVE to have our details saved? :(
I'm a frequent purchaser of CSC, and this is turning me off.

Interesting, I think I've gotten all of those items I want so I won't be trying this out yet, but next time there's a bonus we'll see how this works.

braintree subscriptions aren't available yet, but you will be able to continue to use your stripe subscription as long as you want even after we switch them over. existing subscriptions will 100% still be honored. :)
is this going to overlap with the usual Delish/bonus weekend, perchance?
If we aren't at our renewal date yet can/should we switch to Braintree instead of stripe?

These items are available for this week only in this method, the points are available for this week only. We'll send a notification to people who have them on Sunday telling them to make sure to spend their points before they're removed, this is entirely temporary.
After this week, it'll be back to normal.
It should be faster than stripe, checking it out now to double check :)!
You actually used stripe instead of braintree, be more careful next time :) We're going to credit you anyway.

Before I go crazy rushing to buy csc to get braintree points for this week I was wondering if you could tell us how things will work after this week? Will they be the same as before but just a different paying agent thingy or are the braintree points a permanent new thing? Will all these items be available after this week in some way or are they gone again after this week?
Is going through Braintree slower than the methods used before?
