This is a Channel 5 Action News special report!

As the battle rages on, we're going straight to Shadowglen Councilor, Connor Rainsong, who has some pertinent information to share:

â€œItâ€™s me! Iâ€™ve been wor-r-rking as fast as I can, and things are getting much clear-r-r-rer. Itâ€™s definitely the offer-r-rings! Spir-r-r-rits want to know that they are r-r-remembered, but theyâ€™ve been left neglected for too long. Whatever-r-r the pir-r-rates and Jaxon wer-r-re doing seemed to be the bar-r-re minimum, but when Jaxon took his vacation and couldnâ€™t leave out any offer-r-rings, it was the final str-r-raw.

These spir-r-rits are taking matter-r-rs into their-r-r own hands, and for-r-rcing themselves back into our memor-r-ries. It makes sense that they star-r-rted with the pir-r-rates, who have left offer-r-rrings in the past, and Quentin, who has a closer-r-r connection with death. I bet that if Jaxon would answer-r-r the door-r-r, we would confir-r-rm that he is feeling the effects of it, too.

I wonder if Kiyo is too far-r-r gone? Her sor-r-row seems to have turned to anger-r-râ€¦â€

While I like Connor as a character, these Rs are starting to be so annoying to read. It gives me a headache. I take the news as transcribed instead of a live video report (because they are, well, written), so it becomes unnecessar-r-ry. Heck, I stutter slightly in RL but I don't write like how I talk.

Back to the event, I bet it would be like with cute little Tempest: taming the anger and sadness into peace and all-ended-well.

But for reals though. I understand why not remembering the spirits made them so angry; it really is a natural reaction in the grief cycle. "Why does no one remember me? Was I not important? That can't be right..." leading into "How DARE they forget me? Forget us? We'll make them remember, we'll make them never forget again!"

Its pretty sad when you think about it. There are a lot of people out there today that feel similarly, I imagine, that nobody remembers them or the one or two people that did suddenly vanished. It a pretty rotten way of living, so I can only imagine the grief these spirits must have - forgotten by the living, spurned by the dead!

Apparently someone has nothing better to do with their time. I've always seen these as live news reports that you're supposed to hear... and people are correct, these would be transcribed as they are spoken if there was captioning.

It&;s like how, if you want to write a character with a Cockney accent, you can just write something like "&;ow are we supposed to read that, then? I've always imagined the Channel 5 News Special Reports as being televised, therefore not really written, and you're hearing the stutter, not reading it (unless you have captioning on and then yes, the stutter would probably be transcribed).

To anyone who's having trouble with the "Talk to Mathis" thing not showing up It wasn't working for me until I went to talk to Connor again, so maybe that has something to do with it. Make sure you visit Connor between each crafting, I guess?
