Just when things were looking bleakest, a few intrepid people have managed to pull together and start dealing damage to the creature now threatening Subeta. She seems to be retreating for now, but we've had reports of Subetans hearing her scream 'I'll be back!' so it's likely that she is taking time to rejuvenate. If you are not able to help battle this monster in the conventional way when she inevitably returns, Connor Rainsong and Mathis still need all the help they can get crafting weapons to take on the fight!

It appears that the final blow of this stage was dealt by . Good luck to all of our current and future brave battlers and crafters!

Note: We're planning on releasing the next stage of the World Boss at around 5pm tonight, and the final stage at noon tomorrow, aiming to keep each stage going for several hours to give multiple timezones a chance to participate. - Subetateam

Just because a time doesn't work for you personally doesn't mean it's poor planning or the staff is deliberately trying to exclude people. The world's a big place and the staff has lives too. 9__9

Scratch my previous comment, just read Rah's message about needing staff online! Hadn't considered that, I'm sure staff know what they're doing better than I could tell them to do their jobs!

I'm lucky enough that I'll probably be able to make both of the last two waves, but it does seem kinda sucky for some people who can't. I don't see why the challenger can't just be open all the weekend, regenerating after each kill as many times as necessary. Then people who only have a small window of opportunity don't miss out and those who can be around all times can battle when they like.

i can't believe there's not one release during midday/afternoon for (northern) europeans. you give me 5am, 1am, and 6pm? on the last day?! wow, i SURE am gonna get a lot of hits in on THIS one! i would hardly call this taking different time zones into consideration. i had all day from 12pm available yesteday. i have THE ENTIRE SATURDAY off, free to do whatever! sunday? family at 1pm, so you see my problem here? i'm not even sure i'll be available for the pitiful last time slot to get a hit in and maybe get a few points.

users should not have to sacrifice this much to participate in a plot ("wah, wah, don't participate!") no, do some better planning.

glad all the americans with top tier pets will get to bask in all the plot points now that all times have catered to them.

I guess I should have stayed up last night. I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Got a date tonight with the hubs, and I am sure he will not appreciate me cancelling it just to battle.

I don't understand why the one that is at 5pm tonight was not for like 11am or 12pm subeta time today? Europe seems to be getting the short end of the stick here.

As someone who woke up to the first round being well over I really appreciate the effort being put into giving people multiple times to work with. While they might not all work for everyone I think this is definitely a step in the right direction for how to deal with bosses like this.

So wave 1 is in the middle of the fucking night for europe Wave 2 is in the middle of the fucking night for europe And hey look wave 3 is finally during daytime but on the point where the entire world apart from Australia/Asia is online to play? And we have to compete with everyone? But hey nice to know that I don't have to bother with this any more. Prizes for battling always go to the ones who hit the most and with only 1 chance out of 3 to battle on a moment where everyone can battle? Not worth my time.

It's pretty sad that there is someone out there on staff who thought that this planning is actually good.

What pisses me off most is that it's not like it's a surprise that Europe exists and is getting screwed over. The plot has presumably been planned for a while and time should have been organised for someone to be online. It's poor planning and I'm really disappointed tbh.

Stupid me I forgot to heal my pet after one of her battles and did not get to fight this one. I made a ticket and a topic in the battle forums. SOOOO embarrassed! If I could kick my own bet I would. I did get to fight three of the challengers in this plot. Congrats to all who defeated this challenger especially Emrys. :D <3 Love this site. :*

Yay for different timezones, but boo for none being about this time of day :( I just hope that the 5pm one lasts a load longer, so I have a chance to battle more in the morning, otherwise 6 battles looks like my total :(

We don't forget that Europe exists (I live in England!) - but we have to arrange for multiple staff members to be online during release times. With three stages, the times we could all do whilst taking into account breaks and as many timezones as possible were 11pm friday, 5pm Saturday and then Noon Sunday. Unfortunately it is simply very difficult for the needed staff to be online at the times many users in other countries would consider the 'perfect' timeslot to battle.

I lost count of how many battles I did but I think I spent almost 200k on healing lol. And did 500+ damage each battle so pleased with that so far

Urgh! Looks like I'll maybe get some of the first few hours of the last one, then. Real shame that the start times aren't more evenly distributed. on a single 24 hour scale, battles start at intervals of five hours, six hours, and thirteen hours. Sometimes I think Subeta forgets that Europe exists.

Lol i just read that this is cumulative based. That means Tomorrow i wake up grab my breakfast and i do not leave my computer till Kiyo is down again xD i had to cook dinner tonight and only got 29 battles in x.X that and i have mild ADHD and battling Kiyo over and over was like shoving wood sprinters under my finger nails. So much fun :)

Wave 1 started at 1pm here. Next wave will start at 7am tomorrow which hey i cant see why that will be too much trouble sides the container i bought for under my bed to hold my work clothes that doesnt fit under my bed xD and needs to go back tomorrow, but the third wave will start 2am on Monday morning xD i dont see me getting any battles in that last wave xD It will most likely be finished by the time i wave up

Not to be thick but we don't have to fight in all three waves if we only fight in one wave and deal out damage, right? Or does the gross damage from one battle carry on into the next(ie 370k in first wave, 330k in second, 300k in third=1m total for user?)?

So I slept through the first battle because it was in the early morning, second battle takes from midnight to the morning hours of Sunday, and the last battle starts at 7 AM Sunday... When am I supposed to sleep? I need to get up at 7AM Sunday to do stuff and I need sleep before that. Why are all these events taking place during the night? Greetings from Europe.
