Say WHAT?



I’ve spent a lot of time tr-r-rying to make heads or-r tails of this book, but it’s no use, we’r-r-re going to have to get it tr-r-ranslated. I talked to the Element Mage but he says he specializes in Ancient Saher-r-ric and doesn’t recognize this dialect at all!

It wasn’t a total waste, though! He pointed me to towar-r-rd Alexander-r-r at the Centr-ropolis Public Libr-rar-ry. He has access to all kinds of ancient texts and is quite a collector-r-r fr-rom what I under-r-r-rstand.

Hmm, I wonder-r-r if he had a copy of this book all along? Wouldn’t that be embar-r-r-rassing?

I just got it without any punctuation, all in capital letters, and without changing any letters to the grammatically correct ones.

If you mean replacing certain letters with the ones that have been crossed out, I've already done that ^^' Unless you mean something else? Either way, thanks for the help

, Thanks for the tips but it still doesn't seem to be working for me o.o

I've tried line breaks, no line breaks, leaving the word broken, replacing the correct letters, and not replacing them. So far nothing has worked so I must be missing something that I can't see. I'll probably take a break and the redo the whole thing later lol

If it helps, I just put all the text in with no spaces, no changing letters(so all 'v's stayed that way), and I didn't leave in the gap in one word.

  • not changing the spacing or lettering whatsoever
  • removing the linebreaks in the above format
  • using linebreaks to match where they're actually located on the piece of paper
  • changing the letters to the correct ones
  • correct letters + split in word
  • correct letters + no split
  • incorrect letters + no split
  • incorrect letters + split

After a while, I was able to automatically just read the symbols as normal letters. It's like my brain just adapted to it. Weird...Maybe I can be Jaxon's pen pal now? heehee.

it does not require anything more than what it says on the page, so no changing any letters to proper english or punctuation. though the 1 broken word (split in 2 lines) i think makes a difference

Does it require correct punctuation, like commas and periods? Because I've got the message down but I keep getting the "I don't think that's quite right" message. I've double-checked my spelling and I've searched for mistakes and I can't find any.
