Seriously, the dialogue to this event is so cute it's killing me. I love how we're getting to know the councilers' personalites even more. The only thing that could make this better is if all the councilers made an appearance in the plot. I'd be the happiest person ever. Don't get me wrong. Connor is the main attraction here, but I'd love a chat with Mr. Dmitri Char. hehe~ (God, I need help)
Anyways, I haven't tried the game yet though (probably tomorrow). Wish me luck. :)
tbh idk how anyone's having trouble??? press down on key, full speed ahead ram through basically everything ignore all enemies BAM GET THERE IN TIME
as long as you dont hit literally every obstacle you easily get there
It's a lot easier to use the 1-4 keys on the top of your keyboard as opposed to clicking the powerups (: That way it doesn't mess up!
Pirate Panic just killed my wrist. ouch... and I play shooter/bullet hell games. I did manage to get all the achievements for it thankfully.
I'm so angry with myself I got to level 14 and died :(
pirate panic really annoying! i had to click on the screen again after clicking on powerups otherwise i won't be shooting.

Pirate Panic is actually pretty fun, but definitely WAY easier with the mouse! O: O: O: i feel pretty cool that i got all the achievements like right away LOL
That's much more frustrating than not being able to complete it for sure.
One thing with the boat game tho, after I beat it it doesn't start anymore Like you press start and just the little pause - reset - sound icons appear but the map doesn't, it just stays stuck on the main screen

The boat game takes a few tries to get used to, but the path is short. Don't bother with the enemies or the power-up thingys. If you've got the health to spare you can hit a few pieces of wood to avoid taking the longer path around in some places. The pirate game is easy enough. I got to wave 12 on the first try. Could use more achievement tiers though because the current one only goes up to 1000 and you can get ~200 if you die at wave 12.
Could use a link to the games on the news page or something. I tried going back to the boat game through my browser history but it just takes me to the conversation page with the pirate game on it.

Oh dear god level 15 is going to be near impossible for me I've only gotten to level 13 and then died. Hoooooo boy.
Bro tip: If you're having trouble with the boat game, just ignore the sharks and octopi and go as fast as you can to the finish line.

One of my roommates took pity on me because I was so upset with myself that I was crying. The second game is much better. I'm so glad that I never have to look at that boat game again.

That's just it, the route isn't sticking with me, and when it does, I touch the wrong arrow and get stuck. I have two sets of arrow keys, the one on the number pad, and then some smaller ones to the side. I've tried both. The number pad one keeps wanting to scroll, and the other ones are to small, so it's hard to use them. If it wasn't timed, I could probably work it out without a problem. I've never complained about plot steps before, but this one is tearing me apart.
This game is a bit harder than the last one x_X

I'll try a few more times, but sighs, it's like when I'm upside down I know I need to hit the opposite key but my fingers will just click the wrong one and even that one second will mess up my entire path, I've gone in circles ._.
Here is the key you need to click to use the mouse: http://oi57.tinypic.com/egzfc5.jpg (link bc it's sorta big) If the key is in the corner then you're playing using keyboard keys. Once you click it it becomes a mouse and you're playing with your computer mouse.

it's ok, no need to panic I know it's stressful because there's a timer but like I said just try to do it bit by bit, even if the timer runs out while you're in the middle of it at least you'll learn the route and where the enemies are and stuff and it'll make it easier for the next time you play
I can't do it anymore. I just can't. I refuse to try and beat this stupid game. If that means I can't continue on with the plot then so be it! The controls are way too sensitive and the time is too short. Yeah I get that others are able to beat it BUT those people probably like these kinds of games. Not a satisfied user right now. :(
Yep to get the achievement you have to beat level 15, if you die during level 15 it doesn't count

Hit space bar like a man woman So for this achievement for "spirit waves", I have to COMPLETE, not just achieve the level, right? I just got up to level 14 when I got killed, but my achievement page says level 13 still like from my previous game. Confirmation?

ok. I've officially quit trying to beat the boat game. This is not something I'm going to be able to do, and I'm getting so upset with myself that I've worked myself into such a bad mood. So I think it's time to log off for the night. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow, but this is probably the least fun I've ever had on Subeta in all the years I've been here.

I'm doing that, but I keep getting stuck, and then I panic and I can't work out which keys do what. I've never had a plot step make me cry before, but I am crying out of frustration right now. I feel so stupid because I can't work out this game
So I finished the boat race, went to the pirates and talked to them and then the game wouldn't load. So I refreshed and of course it kept saying the page timed out etc etc. So I had to close the web browser and open it again and now I can't find where to go for the pirate game at all.....
That is a stupid idea for idiots XD Best. Line. EVER
I'm still hunting ghosts (trying the 250 one) and I am sucking at this one this is going to take me forever to get the hang of Lol But keep on trying.. Idk how many seashells or whatever we have to collect to accomplish the goal or.. hopefully a game guide comes out soon for this one as fast as it did for the ghosts. People were really great with getting that info out right away and it helped! :)
just try to move forward, you don't need to pick up the doodads, you don't need to kill the sharks or anything the only thing you need to kill are the squids because they block the path, but just keep shooting as you move forward and you'll kill them fast
The pirate game was actually pretty fun, although the first time I did it I only got 80 points and my cannon just. stopped working now and then? I would have to click the screen with the mouse to get it shooting again even though I was playing using the keys. Solved that by playing with the mouse instead. (Which is how I got over 100 points, enough to move the plot along-- because after the game I got 80 points with it wasn't enough to change any dialogue, so I'm not sure if that's a bug or if there's just an unsaid points threshold you have to meet. Mentioning it in case anyone has any trouble but if you got through the boat steering game I'm sure you'll be fine at the cannon one lol.)

I think their moral alignement is secondary to the point, but I feel like "another pirate plot" D:<" is less of a problem than "another ghost plot?"
