People are whinging that revamps are taking precedent over new content when two brand new storm pets were released earlier the same day. Claims that the staff isn't listening or asking the userbase what they want run fast and loose. Meanwhile, when staff asks for input on what needs a facelift or fresh coat of paint on the forums, people accuse them of making us do their jobs.

What a time to be alive.

I agree with . There is so much that staff listens to. While we may not be happy that some things may be done over others or be happy with the outcomes, the point of the matter is that staff DOES listen. They don't disregard players and what they say. Maybe some things are said that Staff doesn't feel necessary to implement. That's their discretion. However, staff does listen. Most other pet sites don't do that. Their mottos are, most of the time, "Don't like it, stuff it!" Subeta is much, much different.

Hmm, I think it would have been better if the fairy wings had kept that light color.It seems a little dark and solid now... But I like the other revamps!

Love the newly wearable naga and viper fangs! The revamps look really good, especially the newt eyes (they may be usable now) and butterfly wings. I do, however, find myself agreeing with many others that the fairy wings are a bit of a problem. I loved the delicate, translucent quality of the original. The new ones, while they are still a bit translucent have lost the delicacy.

Wasting time? If by wasting time you mean making ugly outdated art new and much nicer to look at, then yes. Revamping old art is one of the things that makes subeta great. Revamps are necessary in most cases. But you can't please everyone with every revamp. You make it sound like a personal stab to the gut when staff revamps things. Also saying staff doesn't listen to it's userbase is pretty rude. Tons of users, myself included, have asked for revamped Spells Galore Items for years. Staff listen, but not every suggestion or desire is going to make the cut. That's just how it is.

but pixelated edges could have been redone/revamped with little change. Plus I'd be okay if they revamped them and kept the daintyness of them, but they didn't.

I never said that fairy wings weren't large... I just think in the revamp they could've been made equally as dainty as the old ones look. It was an item I would use all the time with pink and purple outfits and now I don't wanna touch it because it just looks bad.

We've been releasing new items along with revamps. People specifically asked for spell galore revamps on the forums as well as the last spell galore revamp post! Some of these items are so old that they ... aren't exactly pleasing to the eye in pet's treasure chests. Not only are some of these revamped, some of these got overlays that didn't have them before (aka the fangs). So it's adding something new to older items more than just a revamp item image!

I can respect your opinions, but I also think that if the artists are going to work on something, revamps are no the way to go. There i sso much more potential to this site other than just redoing old items, or taking the same items year after year, and changing colors and designs, or adding a suspender, and calling it "new."

I just ht ought the whole reason that this site was created was because "another" pet site was getting too big and not much caring about their members opinions, and now this site deems to be doing the same thing. The money to run the site comes mainly from the members, and our opinions don't much matter.

This is Sacred Lands month so this is quite within the line of the monthly theme. Besides, just because artists are working on revamping items, doesn't mean that programmers aren't doing other things to help fix the areas of necessity that are not working as well. Remember, artists aren't programmers, so they have no ability to be able to fix things. It's not programmers that revamp and upload art-related items to the site. That's handled by other staffies.

Honestly, I can't stand to look at anymore revamps. I like more of the older looks than the new ones. PLUS this is exactly why I DO NOT buy CSC anymore. I used to pour money into this site, and got sick of not having my voice heard. SO much for listening to the people funding the site.

There are so many other things that are more important that need to be worked on, other than wasting time redoing old items. Ugh!

Hmm the only thing that bothers me are the fairy wings. They had a very delicate ethereal look to them in the previous version. I'm not really enjoying this update to them (everything else is phenomenal though and much more realistic looking) Perhaps it's the added difficulty that there isn't really a precedence for fairies to use as a base reference XD

I really prefer the old version though.

I do think the Fly Wings and Birdwing might be improved... hard for me to remember what they looked like though. Anyone got old reference images? (For the Butterfly Wings too would be nice, I can't remember those at all.)

I am glad the birdwings have this color! Because I was devastated how the batwings went from this same grey to really huge and reddish (?!) and completely ruined one of my saved HAs! At least I can switch for these now <3 All those revamps are SO exciting, more more MOOOAAARRR puh-lease!!
