Although I didn't watch Star Trek, this tribute is beautiful for someone who was not only beloved by many but a great inspiration as well.

Leonard Nimoy brought to his character that one could be smart, even nerdy, and still be confident and cool. I grew up on TOS, but found "Old Spock" of the movies to be more lovable than ever.
There won't ever be anyone else like him.

My friend texted me of his passing when the news broke and I'm sitting here at work crying. I never did get to meet him. T_T He was a good man.
This is such a great tribute for such a great man. The world has lost a star but may he shine in heaven for all time. To all of my trekkies/trekkers out there, may we celebrate a great man's life! Love you Leonard. You will always be our Spock!! ♡♡♡

I wasn't a Star Trek fan, but I've heard a lot about Kirk and Spock and the success of a long-running series along with it's rebirth. Always sad to see someone whose work has inspired many pass away.
Funnily enough, seems like Leonard initially disliked being seen for only being Spock. But later on he embraced it, which I am glad for.

I was never a big Spock fan. (i like Data, Riker, Picard, Jordi...) but when I found out that Leonard Nimoy died...oh wow. Sadness. :(
