Been eyeing something in the Cash Shop but haven\'t been able to buy CSC? We\'ve introduced an Offer Wall into the cash shop!
As a bonus for the next week if you complete an offer you get a bonus 25% cash shop credits from the offers!
Pretty disappointed actually... I thought they'd only bring back offers if they were safe, but obviously not.
Also all the videos require you share them on Facebook, and I'm not interested in sharing my information like that with some unknown website.
The offers that want you to do surveys don't credit you when you finish a survey, or redirect you over and over again until you just get frustrated and give up.
Waste of time. Glad some people got them to work, although I'm not sure how.
Approaches first one and gets asked for a lot of personal info including my street number... quits
Approaches second one and gets asked to sign up to site that threats to spam my email... quits
Approaches third one and gets asked my mobile number for.... doesn't even read and quits
... backs away very slowly from the new feature...
I don't think I would ever be desperate enough to risk doing this. SMH.
While I do need some csc, I am not risking my laptop's safety. I'm very picky about where I go on m laptop, but that's because the interne nowadays is just too dangerous and one has to be very careful unless you want your laptop or computer full of unwanted trojans, worms, virus, malware etc. I rather stay on the safe side and I will not be completing any of these offers!
To those who are completing the others, I say stay safe and be wary of what you click! Even if you do have virus protection, there's always something out there that can let itself right into your computer and can go undetected.
Got a couple to work, but some I feel uneasy about so I exit them, or with a few it seems to be an endless loop of offers that never gives me a chance to complete them or get a confirmation email. Hopefully backing out of some won't jeopardize my account, I really like having the ability to earn CSC with offers like this!
Tried the offers, got asked for personal info, nope.
Tried to buy through sms, transactions always failed, nope.
It's kinda hard for those of us that don't live in USA/Don't have dollars. Best of lucks to those who can actually make use of this orz
There's a note saying: "Warning! We do not have control over the offers in this wall, and we have not personally vetted them. If you click on an offer please do so at your own risk, some may ask for personal information or have ads that are dangerous to your computer."
...really? So NOT using any of these offers...I'll stick to buying CSC/Cash Shop items from other users. :c
Welp, after answering the same three (Do I drink alcohol? What race am I? How much do I make?) questions over and over I was finally taken to a page that made me watch advertisements and asked me how I felt about them. I did get my credits though.
I'm grateful for the offers though. Guess I'll have to keep trying.
That's nice, so we're guinea pigs and if we get viruses of some sort and tell you then you take it down. That makes me feel so much better ._.
I like doing these things on mobile but not on the pc because they hardly ever work, but it's nice to have this option And hey, speaking of mobile, you know what would be cute A subeta app I don't know if it'd be useful since you can just use the site but it'd sure be cute
Not touching any of this. The the never ending music in my head just switched tracks to "So Long, Farewell" from The Sound of Music (movie). I wish I had a gif of them waving T-T
Um I wanted to do this offer and it woulnt let me then it said a warning about being banned bla bla and error my head hurts s alreAdy
And: For some people this is the only way to get credits. We actually make very very little actual dollars from these offers (like, cents) but its something that a lot of other sites have because it makes CSC more obtainable. Obviously if we get a bunch of reports over the next few days we will shut this wall down just like we've shut down other ones in the past.
I am thankful for a chance at credits but... I just don't trust the offers. I'll wait till the dollar here bounces back so I can get csc then. :D Good luck to everyone else.
ok so i just did two of these and i haven't received any credits????
looks like everyone else is in agreement over the virus thing. and others have their virus protection blowing up over it too. man I understand survival is about zombies and stuff but like. can our computers be left out of being zombies.
An offer wall is one of the things we get asked about the most, people like being able to complete a few and get credits. I've put a warning up on the page to be mindful of what you're clicking on!
Eww. xD The Elite Fitness one redirects to porn... Really did not need to see that o_o
A friend of mine JUST got a virus from one of these stupid offers and someone else's virus protection just blocked a Trojan. THESE OFFERS ARE UNSAFE!!!!! How could Subeta promote these things???
I got that one :[ Lots of work, and now I want Gorton's fish filets. (Shouldn't be doing this at work at dinner time...)
I did get my credits though! I may work on some of these when I have spare time on campus.
I actually did the Snackees one (skipped all offers) and ended up with a claim form and confirmation code

You completed a cash shop offer and earned 180 credits![/quote]
Woo woo. C:
I agree with someone who asked if these have been tested before being posted. From what I'm reading, it doesn't look like it. These things should be tested and 1000000% bona fide before introducing them to the site. It shouldn't be playwr responsibility to test these things out and wind up with a virus that could destroy their entire computer or be forced into giving all their personal information out to these offers.
Looking at the offers: "Maybe not." Looking at these comments: "Definitely not."
I've already gotten 667 credits from 2 offers. I'm having no issues over here.
Wow one dollar for 10 minutes of my time. That's not even minimum wage.
I quit for now. ;-;
SO I FINALLY GOT TO DO ONE. THAT MADE ME WATCH 10 COMMERCIALS AND RATE THEM. THE FUCK ARE MY CREDITS, HOMEBOY?
This notice should be added to the news post- "Warning: if you complete any of these offers you will probably get a virus."
Seriously though it makes me really uncomfy to see subeta actually encouraging people to click on those things. I trusted this site. :(
Won't give anyone my personal info! This is a cute idea, but seriously... who thought of spam sites like these? Horrible...
I got some of the tasks and surveys to work... but that's an awful lot of work for 2 CSC (or .02 cents US). I'm trying one of the larger ones worth 101 credits... on a campus computer, not my home one. Heh.
Thank you!!!!
Thanks but no thanks. :/ I don't like giving my information to these so-called offers... Oh and my Anti-virus is exploding right now.
Even if the offers don't work, I'm happy there is an option to buy CSC using mobile again. :)
As a very private person, these offers have never been my cup of tea, but to anyone willing, more power to ya!
Decided to give it another try.
Still not applicable for any surveys after filling out my date of birth, zip code, ethnicity, and employment status over and over.
My adblocker is exploding.
The "free" trials still want my credit card info.
Too many are asking for my phone number.
My virus scanner is exploding.
And: Canceling, charging back, or returning items will cause a rejection. - In other words, prepare to be charged for your free trials, yes?
NOPE.
I retract my previous statement. The videos are ~5 minutes long, then they make you share on social media, then the 0.98 credits never show up. This is terrible, aren't these things tested before being put on the site?
Does Subeta really want to be the site that gives users viruses for a chance at a pittance?
"Now: your chance to get a 1000€ voucher for shopping" translated into really, really, really, really bad German. You know that there are 91237812392133534534 fake "free" voucher offers on facebook daily? Where they only want to get your adress, phone number etc.? There are enough people that belive such shit and get a subscription(trap) of ~30€/months for approx 2 years.
No thanks. There are enough companies that already have my conctact information yes, I mean you, Google and Facebook
And videos won't work. "nothing available"
I see this and I see "Congratulations, you've won a free virus" basically. So, thanks for the offer, but no thanks.
ummmm... managed to do two... not doing this again XD
Good for those who want it though :P
Uh uh.
You completed a cash shop offer and earned 546 credits!
aw yizz
Welp it's been 10 minutes... 100 survey redirects... probably 1million viruses
for a grand total
of
ZERO CREDITS.
I'm over it.
woop!!! I don't mind these things, as my virus protection is pretty hardcore. thank you for bringing them back!!
Besides, most, if not all, offers are for US citizens, anyway. I MIGHT qualify for ONE offer if I'm lucky. The thought of porn videos and ads that contain viruses also terrify me as I lost my lappy to a virus
And if you have adblock disabled, you'll have other problems. :)
The surveys and offers are all kinds of shady and don't often pay out, but the videos often work. A few credits for watching an ad is still better than no credits.
SO I DO I SURVEY THAT REDIRECTS ME TO ANOTHER SURVEY WHICH REDIRECTS ME WHICH REDIRECTS ME forever and ever
something is UP.
I don't understand how I go from completing a survey about "Snackeez" to signing up for senior life insurance.
Free credits would be nice, but these are all so sketchy. It just makes me feel dirty. :(
Holy popups batman... thanks but no thanks
last time i did things like this was on gaia and that computer was chock full of viruses so uh yeah no thanks. ill stick to buying csc or the items from other users kthx
Really? People are already saying they got viruses from these... Like why is it up to the userbase to willy nilly click on stuff and become at risk before you decide that some of the offers aren't safe?
I guess I'm the only one seeing how absolutely irresponsible it is to present a huge wall of free viruses to your customers because you "can't control" the offers that show up and don't bother to test them before releasing. This is worse than when the malware links were being sent around through smail, because the site is actually officially sponsoring this sort of thing... Wow. Just wow. 😔
