Pumpkin Carving Contest

Morostide is around the corner--let's carve some pumpkins! We want to see what clever ideas you can come up with, so how about another contest? Staff will vote, and the three winning pumpkins will be drawn as official Subeta items that you can carve and add to your collections!

Rule Breakdown:

You must carve a pumpkin.Â Real live pie ingredient? Yes! Fake foam pumpkin? Sure!Â Potato?Â No thanks!
Your pumpkin must be Subeta-themed.
You can use other decorations (paint, glitter, ribbon, etc.) but you must include some carving!
Include a description (500 characters or fewer) that you would want to be used for the on-site item should your pumpkin win.

You can enter your pumpkin until end of day October 19th. The winning pumpkins will be released shortly thereafter. :)

Winners will receive a copy of their pumpkin and 2000 CSC! All entrants will get a handful of Morostide items (maybe a retired item or two will make a comeback?), an achievement, and a forum title!

Does this mean turnips are out of the question as well? (jk) ;) sounds fun might try the foam idea as those might be the cheaper and cleaner endeavor. Just to be clear: Subeta themed but not a repeat of a previous pumpkin re site right? Like the cakes- only original ideas?

This is a cute idea ^.^ I still have my fingers crossed that one day there will be a jewelry making contest (the one thing I'm actually good at xP), but I can't wait to see what people come up with! I know there are a lot of talented carvers out there that never cease to amaze c:

I may actually do this. I was thinking the other day how it has been 10 years since I carved a pumpkin. I use to do major projects of them. May give it a whirl.

No halloween and no pumpkins in my country :/ i'm sad. Maybe i can find a miniature pumpkin or something.... Really curious about the retired items.

Yes! I was just talking to a friend about how I was sad to miss out on baking due to lack of ingredients and funds. So having something I know I can do is awesome! Now to decide what subeta theme to use...can we go outside of the sub idea even a bit? Like last year I did a squid, sea creature....squibly lol. If not no worries, just want to make sure before I pick my pumpkin.

I guess I'll just have to make a mess and clean it up, or in my case leave it for a week and then clean it up. :P I've only ever carved a pumpkin when I was 10 but this is tempting so expect a horrible carved submission from me.

OK so when does TOT start? Getting anxious since I'll be gone for a week just before Halloween and I need as many new foods to feed to my pet as possible and we get lots of candy this time of year. :)

I have never in my life carved a pumpkin. I live in Mexico. It is not a tradition but a handful of Morostide items you said? Okay, time to watch some tutorials on the matter and buy myself a pumpkin.

Hm this ties in with my wanting to actually make a pumpkin pie completely from scratch. I'm supposed to carve a pumpkin for something else anyways so may attempt this.
