Fingers crossed for all that old old anniversary food!
Year round he will be giving out retired items but at a very very small chance. Before when only retired things were going out, we didn't have everything balanced (and forgot to include some normal items). It's been fixed, though.
I am about 95% sure staff forgot that Drills was redone to only give out his "special" items. When it was "fixed" he gave out nothing but retired items, and was quickly put back to nothing but his stuff. So, no, year round he does not give out retired items. And I doubt we will be getting other stuff this time around.
(We are monitoring how many of the bags go out and will adjust the chances accordingly; we don't want a ton going out, so the chances aren't extremely high)

I have played 10/30 games so far today, and have gotten nothing but regular game prizes. Just how small of a chance do we have of scoring anything but hats/belts/plugs?

Um, so I'm only getting drill's items just like the passed while. No special items or anniversary stuff... I call "still broken" on Drills =/
Ohh are there 5th and 6th anniversary bags there too? xD Hngh, LH and multiple minion feeding is painful but I might just have to do it if it gets me a shot at some of these achievements x-x

The 9th bags were released only through Drills last year. :) Also you have a chance of getting the bags from previous years too, just the 9th has a higher chance.
Why the 9th bags? I don't see why that's so special over the other old ones.

We aren't doing a bag this year because we are focusing on a lot of different things for this year. There are still new items to come, guys. ;)

The only thing I don't like is that he makes us do stuff with our pets and I know I try to keep mine in the resort so it won't let me play with/feed it, and even if I remove my pet it's full on both and it doesn't get depleted quickly. That's why I hardly ever do drill quests.
Excited about the extra prizes, but disappointed that there won't be a new grab bag this year. :( That said, I'm enjoying all the new features, achievements and other additions that the 10th anniversary has brought. Happy 10th Subeta!
After the anniversary ends, the chances of getting anniversary items will go down a lot but there is still that very slim chance you can grab an anniversary item year round. :)
