The Wait Is Over! Battle of the Bands Prizes

Hey, darlins! I hope you've been having a great summer since Peka-Boo ended. I was so darn sad when everything was over that I had to make myself busy doing a little charity work. I do love helping other people and making them smile, sometimes being Subeta's favourite starlet just isn't enough for me!

Anyway, back on topic. Johannes is busy back in his shop over in Veta, so I'm here to tell you about the rewards of the Battle of the Bands competition! The prize truck is parked over in Peka Park, come visit it and you'll be awarded a whole bunch of different prizes, based on how you and your chosen band did during the battle! May the odds be ever in your...I mean, good job in taking part and helping to make Peka-Boo amazing!

Nooo, I wish I could grab the flyers and plushies. The new flyers instruments are the ones I was looking for... the DJ table and piano and mic... Just perfect D: Also the eye compact from H&R... I wish we could buy the items from the Cash Shop, just like in the CW contest. Even for 500CSC, I'd pay D:

To sum up, those who made it to the finals got crap while those who clicked a button to support H&R got every prize. Of course some H&R supporters put a lot of effort, but bands which made an extra effort to look good, gather fans and also play that game just got a bowl of candy and a (not-so-exclusive) book.

I'm a bit dismayed to see so few prizes for those who actually supported a winning band. All the wait and then this. When all is said and done I'm still majorly disappointed in how Peka-Boo was handled, especially given that it was the only major event of the summer. Not cool subeta.

It would have made a TON more sense for the supporters to get like half of the roses items, and maybe let people who actually supported A band at all get some as well.

Honestly i participated hardcore in this event. Made a band, etc. YET got crap for prizes. All you have to do is follow a winning band and you get a ton more of the best wearables from the event? yea not cool. Pretty much the worst turnout for prizes from any event.

I didn't support any of the winning teams in any genre and I got a whopping total of 6 prizes. I played that dumb ass game long enough to earn the sticker so I was in whatever X top percent got it so that proves I put quite a bit of effort into this event. My effort got me next to nothing since I wasn't in a popular band. Well I guess I won't be supporting my favorite teams in any future event, looks like I'm going with the popular crowd.

I think it is a great idea to theme items around the winners and the themed ones are great. However, they should not have only been given out based on who you supported but by how much work you put into the event.

Thank you for the great prizes, as some others have commented, I think there should have been tiers for the prizes 1, the grand winning band. 2, the finalists. 3, the bands that entered. Possibly bits for the supporters. It was about the bands not the supporters, IMO. Yes I was in a band and a supporter too. Sorry I dont mean to whinge, but I know you all like free speech ;0)

I'm sorry but this prize format is ass-backwards. There's no reason why just supporting the winning band should have been rewarded more than putting in actual effort. And it just feels like a slap in the face that the "special" prizes for getting a high score were existing site items.

These are neat, but the record player and the book are the only things I'd use, so I'm glad I got that, BUT I SAW MY FRIEND GOT NO PRIZES?? She didn't support any band, but I thought we were going to get prizes just for forming bands even if we didn't win? I didn't know supporting a band was where the prizes came from. Don't we get something to acknowledge our shattered dreams? :c

So far this doesn't seem totally fair to me but idk. Like people in winning bands didn't get as many prizes as normal people who played the game for the winning team, is that right? I was so sure winners were going to get forum titles, I'm rather sad we didn't. Why didn't people in winning bands get forum titles? That was one way you could have made it really special for those people who got that far and tried so hard.

Andrea - you wouldn't get it :) bulleta has it right, it was given out to members of the finalist bands, and members of HnR and their supporters got it, because they got ALL of the prizes.

Is the Vinyl a supposed to be a book, or just a toy? The item URL says botbprize_book_vinyl, but it isn't readable... I'm afraid to hold off on buying it in case staff made a mistake and change it to a book later.

Okay so what's exactly going on with the Signed Peka-Boo Concert Pamphlet and Candy Bowl? Is it JUST for the members of the finalist bands? Or them + their supporters? Or just top supporters? One comment made it sound like anyone who supported the finalist bands, and another made it sound like just the band members D|?

I didn't get it, and did support the Granny Smiths as much as I could muster (not good with the one game yo). So should I be getting it, or not? Because I don't wanna buy it only to get it shortly after D|

If you supported Horns and Roses I believe there is not a single item you weren't supposed to get (except for the lime compact which was for the members only but I don't think others are getting those anyway)
