Cash Shop Loyalty Card

The Cash Shop Loyalty Card is the latest feature to reward users for their continued support. For every 1000 credits you purchase through Paypal, PBC/UGC, or Stripe, you'll receive a shiny new stamp on it. There are five very special stamps you can earn as you make your way through the card, each with a reward item! There's even another that will earn you an elusive forum title.

[item=Stamp My Card!]

Your purchases towards each stamp don't have to be made all at once! As your ongoing total reaches a level, you'll receive your next stamp. There will be new cards released from time to time - complete with new stamps and prizes!

The Loyalty Card considers all CSC purchases from Thursday, 17 July, onward as qualifying purchases.

In the spirit of moving forward with the Loyalty Cards, Bobblehead Collections will retire in one week. Cash Shop purchases made after Sunday, 27 July, will no longer come with a complimentary bobblehead. We hope you’ve had a chance to collect them all!

Also I'm glad to see the bobbles gone |D Now THOSE were unfair.

I also agree the quality of items is usually across the board. Not everything everywhere is my taste, but it's all done to the same standards. Including the evil food trucks taking all my sPs.

I KNOW! Gladly my pet train a lot and he'll lose a lot of the weight he gained with the trucks. I'm looking forward to the games announced in the banner like... SO MUCH!

I do sort of like this concept since I just paid for CSC with real-life money for the first time...

BUT I do agree with people here who have commented that perhaps the stamps should be rewarded for spending the CSC rather than purchasing it, therefore giving other users who don't have the ability to purchase the CSC with real-life money to earn the stamps themselves.

I'm pretty disapointed to see the bar set at 1k purchases when I can buy CSC in increments of 500.

The amount of hullabaloo is depressing but par for the course. I'd agree with it if people were complaing about legitmate issues, but getting your knockers in a twist because the site is encouraging people to purchase CSC with real money?

The timing of this once again is atrocious. There is uproar with the Wishing Bush, the is aggitation because of the CSC/Couture stuff, and yet this is the best time to release a brand new (and come on seriously you knew as irrational as the backlash is, there was going to be backlash.)

If it means more people buy CSC to keep the site going, well good on you, you have my thanks :) There's tons of lovely items on here, I've yet to see any "items of sub-par quality" - what a load of nonsense that is!
And I need people to buy CSC so that I can buy it from them to keep my GA going :D

agreed. You just need to look at those kigurumis and ponchos on the fashion shop at Peka-Boo. They're not only for VIP, and they're awesome. Actually, I like them more than the CSC items (even liking some of them, too). I'm just worried because lately we are having a lot of CSC things added. Those Wilikers and other minions-related items, the space-themed items, The Bloody Summoning Altar, Peka-Boo VIP tickets, now the Peka-Boo Coutures. But in balance, we are having also a lot of sP things released lately. I mean, during weeks we had 3 or 4 releases of awesome wearables, like those bug habitariums, the eco bags, those background plates... By now, I think Subeta is still paying attention in all the players, but I'm also kinda worried...

JMHO:

I fully understand this whole thing and it doesn't bother me. However, just a cautionary word: Neo, the site that has sucked ever since they introduced NC and it took over. As someone that has a very old account over there, I hardly ever play there any more because of it. Neo does not give a hoot about you if you don't buy NC. I was very happy to be brought over here.

The idea is to keep a sense of balance while making sure the site can run as it should.

I know that this is a business first and foremost, and businesses need income to survive, no problem. It's the way things work.

I want Subeta to thrive for a very long time and here is where I spend my time. So may this whole thing turn out to be a wonderful thing for the site and all of it users.

Again, just my opinion and I'm not bothered by the whole thing. Those are some adorable rewards. :)

I am happy to see this. It's a nice new way to go about getting rewards for helping out the site. For those of you upset that these are only available through purchasing CS right now, realize that it is very likely these items will eventually be available in user shops. Maybe not for the price you'd like to pay, but if that's the case, you will just have to decide if it is worth to you. (An item will only retain its value if the users deem it valuable. Otherwise, even it maintains a steep price, it's likely to just sit in a user's shop and rot.) Also, there are SO many items which go very little sP (really common and common main shop items come to mind, in particular) that they are very nearly free. I hardly think that adding 10, 20, 50, 100, or even 500 new items that are harder to purchase is going to tip the balance. I, for one, appreciate that there will continue to be a rewards system in place, just with a different format. It's always a stretch to come up with the money to purchase CS and it's nice to get a little something extra. -nods-

You had to spend real money to /ever/ get anything good. Sure, you could play for free, but only the people with tons and tons of money to spend ever had anything cool, while the rest of us got junk and items of sub-par quality.

Our creative department tries to put out the best art we can on /every/ occasion. You don't have to have tons and tons of real life money to ever get anything cool, here. In all aspects of subeta there are items that are not available to every person for one reason or another other than from buying from another user - battling items, game prize items, quest items, certain event items. But we look at our user base and we see where people are putting time or effort or money in, and we want to reward them accordingly - give them the incentive to carry on, to feel that it's worth it.

We are always looking for ways to make you guys happy, and we appreciate every single user on this site. I appreciate every one that looks at and enjoys the art we produce, and I hate to think that you would believe we are just giving the 'good' items to people with money. We are giving good items to all of you - they are just different sets of good items.

I imagine that after a while, the items available from this loyalty card won't all be kept by the people that got them - and users will be able to purchase from other users for similar prices in SP/SP-bought-CSC the things that they like from the cards. Rather than calling us unfair, I would love for you guys to suggest ways in which we can MAKE this fair. We are listening to you, and we want to hear from you. (I mean, if you want to just call us buttheads that is ok too, but we try really hard not to be, there are just so many of you guys to please!)

I don't think people are complaining about those items. But it's the VIP-tickets, more and more CSC only stuff... People can't put up with earning sp to buy gift cards anymore, and the gap between people buying CSC and people not able to, is getting bigger and bigger. I think that is what is bottering most people. Especially with the festival now and people missing stuff cause they weren't able to buy a vip-ticket. They aren't able to buy some of the nice cash shop items, and now they are missing out on this also. Isn't a nice feeling when you are trying but you can't fit in. And if you allready don't have much money in real life, subeta gave you a change to earn and spend a lot on the site. But that feeling is slipping away with all the CSC stuff they now also can't afford.

Well I for one have spent 800+ USD just in the last 2 months. I do not like spending USD on here and nor do I actually have money to throw around. But when you want something you work hard for it. I got what I wanted and will continue to buy subeta cash. I see it as supporting the site. Weather you can or not is not something you should complain about. Subeta and the team come out with TONS of great items that are not cash shop items. You think getting one of these will be hard? No, it will not be hard to get these items. With in the first month, maybe. But try getting your hands on T11+ weapons and god weapons. Try getting an item that is so limited that only 5 or less are on site. You say its unfair? I say its perfectly fair. Im not complaining about the peka boo event. I honestly have no idea what its about weather you have to be musically talented or just have a good show with HAs and a group. I have no patience to even design a good HA. Im not complaining about it.

Just try and enjoy the site when you can. For me its an escape from RW stress and even a social bracket in my daily routine. Just got to do your best and have fun.

I feel like this announcement is really badly timed. This, along with the VIP ticket purchases, the CSC couture in the fashion yurts, and the ridiculously amount of rich Subeta users monopolizing the wishing shrub, is making the event feel less like fun celebration and more like an advertisement. A really cool, inventive, interactive advertisement, but still. I like the idea, and I think it's a great perk for those who financially support this site, but I feel like this could've waited until after Peka-Boo had been over for a week or two.

Hey, I am not saying I do not respect the site or that I think this is going to be "the downfall of us all"...I'm just saying that this is kind of how things started to go downhill with neo. First, there were special items you could only get by purchasing NC. Then, they spent all their time making awesome things that costed real money and almost no time making things for free.

I get that a site needs to make money to keep going. I just...I just finally found this place. It would be so unfortunate to watch the same thing happen here. It is good to give people that can afford to spend money on here something extra for doing so. But...not everyone doesn't spend money on here because they don't want to...most don't because they can't.

I guess all I am trying to say here is, don't forget the little guys while making stuff for RL money, you know? Just keep it equal. Sure, have special items for those who spend real money here, that makes sense. It is still money they did not HAVE to spend money here. But don't do it the neo way and spend ALL their time on RL cash items while giving those who can't spend money the scraps, ya know?

Keep it balanced. No one is saying every user should have every item, that is unrealistic. But don't make it to where only rich users can afford the items.

Just...balance. That is all. Balance.

.PoisonIvy - Which items are you talking about? Because I just price checked a bunch of the CSC-purchase-only items we've had recently, and the most expensive I can find is the Opal and Black Pearls for 14m sP. That's not that bad.

Hilarious seeing how much people are getting worked up over a few items. Yes, they're expensive, both in terms of real-world money and, one would assume, their SP equivalent. It's only six items! Let the site reward those that put the money into the running costs.

I mean, I'm not saying this is wrong. In the long run we'll be able to buy the items on the usershops for 10m, I hope. But I'm just saying that the site cannot to stop with the attention to all the players as well. And yes, they are still giving us a lot of attention.

This is not the first thing subeta has ever done that was exclusive to directly giving money to the site, and yet I can't recall people getting up in arms about the special items given when purchasing csc? This is really no different, and chances are people out there will sell the stuff in the end (the only thing I really want is the book |D.. and maybe the cat leggings idk yet) for sP.

This is not a big deal, or new, and I don't see a stupid book or plushie being the straw that breaks the camels back. Now if you get a free godly for 10 stamps, I will retrack this statement, otherwise just take a deep breath.
