Well, I think her new art is not cute at all, in fact, the first time I saw the new art I thought 'scaaaaary o-o'. The shading is very good , but the fact that her proportions are off makes it look horrible to me. I don't want to be mean here, I see that the artist has skills in colouring but needs to excercise in drawing cute children /teenagers. so here is my critique (and again it is not to be mean, just for the artist to improve) I think everything is too chubby. Her head is ROUND (her eyes nose etc too!). The head shape of the anime version is much better and the eyes don't look so off like in the more realitsic style. She should have smaller eyes and a smaller nose (makes her look like a troll o-o). The chubbiness makes her a lot younger, too (anime version: young elf vs. new version: toddler troll with wings) Overall I would prefer the anime outlines with an updated shading.

In addition to the fact I hate her new art, I actually made out worse with her as a WQ. I did these quests each day and not once did I get one of the 100K+ SP prizes. But I would once a day before she was the WQ. The prizes I did receive were no different than a non WQ.

And her new art is bad; I adblocked it. The eyes are demented gnomes, and she looks like she has scoliosis. She's not cute like she was previously; she looks like a cursed doll. Thank goodness for adblock.

I didn't really get anything decent. Actually i think it was worse than when she's not the weekend quest. She kept asking for items that were like 500k or higher

Also.Um. Her face on the news feed looks fine... but when you actually go to her quest page... um she looks kind of creepy

I get better prizes with her when she's not a weekend quests. Most of the items she wanted today were very expensive. I'm talking 19,000,000 sP. I don't think so! LOL

Cinthia's quests seem to be a cross between Saggi and Item Hunt and can ask for the most expensive items on the site. People asked for Cinthia's artwork to be changed so the site changed it. I like the original artwork too but we can't be rude to the artist who drew the new artwork. Both artwork versions are good. This isn't the same subeta it use to be :).

That being said, her new face is just....squashed. It looks completely off-kilter and stranger and off-putting.

Yea, she's definitely not giving as good of items as she does usually. I've been having better luck with Alexander, and I'm losing money with him, but I'm still getting rare, super rare, and ultra rare stuff from him, and tokens.

Not today. The few times I've done her quests she seemed very inconsistent. I make a few SPs on a quest then lose SPs on the next 2-5 quests. Strange. Just saying that "increased prizes" should actually be increased some times.

Agree with Stefany. I don't really care any more who the weekend quest is, they're hardly worthwhile. With "increased prizes" we should at least be able to break even on the SPs but they pay out so little now I often end up losing SPs instead.

If you're going to try for a more realistic style, for the love of god, don't give it anime eyes. But what I really can't get over is that there are so many other images that need a revamp more than Cynthia -- like the basic antlephore, perhaps?

I don't mind the new art... I just wish the weekend quests meant something. Weekend quests are a joke. Both the item and sP rewards are not increased or special. Used to be, doing quests was a great way to earn sP, but now... all the quests might as well be a big hole to throw all your sP into. And after the revamp even the Wizard quest is just like the others. A waste of time. Now, it has become that the only way to earn a decent amount of sP on this site is to be an artist. I just think it's crazy. blah. /endrant

My problem with Cinthia's art is the same on both old and new versions...her feet are completely bizarre! I don't know how anyone's legs could swing together to join the feet in such misalignment, and even if it is possible in reality, it was a poor choice of pose for her artwork. It just looks wrong and always has.

She must be a bit confused. My side bar says "Cinthia's Quests: 20 / 30" but when I try to do another quest it says 20/20 and I can't do any more. The old Cinthia was prettier and more feminine.

laughs I must be the only one that actually likes the new art. I'm new here, so didn't know the previous version was the "old" art when the news of the revamp showed up - I always assume the one on the left is the old, the one on the right is the new when two pieces are shown side by side - so actually thought the old art was the newly revamped version. To me, that one was frigging creepy. This one is lovely. Sure there might be a few things that could use tweaking, but between the two, this is definitely the one I prefer.

Her ears are growing out of her jawline. I think she looks okay but the anatomy is strange and you can't fault people for pointing that out.

Hmmmm... took a long hard look at the two styles of Cinthia. Personally I like both styles, the artwork is quite nice (I agree with another user.... I wish I could draw like this).

While I do not find anything ugly or "creepy" as some folks say (I think she look srather cute, actually), the new look does make the little girl appear a bit disproportionate as compared to the older work. Perhaps it is the way she is sitting on her swing, as she looks a bit scrunched up (like she's curling her body around instead of casually sitting on the swing). The other thing that may actually be getting to a lot of folks is the way the pigtails/ringlets (or whatever that hair style is called now-a-days) tend to make the head look puffed out and larger than it seems. If you cover up her pigtails, the size of the head does look fine... but the eyes do look rather larger than normal. Then again, it seems this is the way most anime/manga art looks, so perhaps this is simply my old age (and memories of older style comics) getting to me LOL!

But overall I like the new art as well as the old. Good job and I can't wait to see more!

I haven't really done many updated Cinthia quests but I did one yesterday before her being the WKQ and I got the same prizes (low) as I did with her today being the WKQ. Out of the 10 that I can do, I get one that's worth 50k-100k+ and the others are all 1k-5k (mostly being in the 2k range) with prizes just as low.

I'm not complaining -- I did get an increase of ~100k sp -- I just don't see a difference between "increased" prizes verses regular Cinthia.

Compare her art to Sarah's art... They don't look like they exist in the same universe. The new art is very manga-styled compared to some of the other NPCs.

Started out with 8K on hand and finished with 673K on hand.

I'm really pleased with her as weekend quest. Her face does look a little off to me, rest of her looks great though. I think it's something to do with her eyes, maybe just how big they are on her face or the shading. On her old picture they seemed more like wide eyes of innocence.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the new Cinthia art. Her eyes are way too big for her face, it just looks odd and a little creepy.

Really don't like the new Cinthia art... I think its the face. That, and her body doesn't seem proportionate maybe? Like, she's too stumpy. I don't know.
