By the way, this is an amalgamation of different Cinderellas: Charles Perrault wrote the version in which the glass slipper appeared in Cendrillon, but the Grimms included the part where the stepsisters cut off their toes (the first) and heels (the second) in Aschenputtel.

Definitely thought of the stories before the film, either way great item, missed it sadly, but I'll be keeping an eye out.

The fairytales themselves or the show. I was thinking it was a reference to the Grimm fairytales which I can kind of see since in Cinderella, the stepsisters cut up their heels to fit in the shoes.
I'm not quite seeing the tv show though except for it being based off the Grimm fairytales themselves.
