I have one question, why are all the prize shop items ending in 5 or 0 and people have point scores that end in 1,2,3, or 4? I mean after I buy all that I can I'll still have one point left that I've earned but can't spend. It will sit there mocking me for not playing four more games forever.

A well-deserved congratulations to the winners! :)

That being said, I think big edits for the better need to be made to the Cosplay contest and EPICon overall. For one, I forgot to upload a reference, along with many others, and I believe entrants should be allowed to add/edit/change reference images after the deadline. Second, I was not able to play very many games, as I have an exhausting 40+ hours a week full time job, as well as college. I believe more points should have been awarded from each game play, and/or points could be earned via other activities.

Also, we never got Pony rides, or an EPICon "convention hall". Masquerade has one, and the zombies have the Underground for Survival. What happened?

Cranberry posts here why there are no weapons :)

http://subeta.net/forums/goto/22971926

I will also post what it says.

We don't mind putting weapons in the shop if there's even a little bit of battling, but we are trying to get away from giving out weapons for events where battling doesn't count for points at all. This was an event, too, not a plot -- most plots do have a battle component and so will have weapons available in the prize shop.

bleh. I have 0 points for 2010. I was hoping we could buy with the points we made this time. Guess no taking things off that wish list ;P

Although I was a demon hunter as cosplay because I'm a huge Diablo fan...It was quite hard to tell that the Diabolica items and Witch Healer Belt wear from diablo...even the Lady Hunter Boots were hard to tell...because of the purplish colour xD But I love them anyway!!!! ❤

I saw a lot of the same HAs over and over. I didn't see any of the avatars that took top five. Though they were really good. There were a few HAs that I saw at least a dozen times.

ah my rating is 28% and i'm on page 15 and that's actually pretty good! i'm pleased!!!

but yeah i agree that i didn't even see most of these entries in the pool and got a LOT of repeats... i'd still rather the format not be one that could easily become a user popularity contest.

is it possible to make it next time something like you can give an actual rating of 1-5 or 1-10 to EACH avatar on a page, and then those avatars won't show up for you again? i feel like that would really be a good solution that would even things out a little!

I am agreeing with the peoples askin about weapons? Why are there non? it is allot of nice things in the shop, but darn it, I wanted to slay my opponent with new weapons.

Oh, OH! Before I forget: Congrats for a fellow zombie getting first! So many people seem to make such a big deal about cosplaying as a zombie, but seriously... it comes in handy if you choose something that goes well with your virus!

I cosplayed as Belial (the old graveyard shopkeeper) last time, and actually had a lot of compliments about using my boobitis zombie skin with my cosplay.

This is great! It's so amazing that a Van Gogh won! I'm actually sad that I didn't get to see most of the top entries, and looking through the gallery (on page 5 so far, I barely saw any of these... haha. I voted quite a bit, too, though it tapered off towards the end since I was practically only seeing repeats.

Congrats all winners :D But I seriously hope for next time the voting system changes. This system was so idiotic in my opinion and made no sense. I only saw about 2 of those winners entries out of all the times I voted. Some of my friends entered this competition who had really cool cosplays and I didnt even get to see them in the voting system. I saw many repeats of entries over and over again which does not seem like a fair system at all! I understand that having all the entries shown and everyone ranking them in like an order up to a certain number may be too time consuming for some people to do but just seems so much more fair in my opinion than constant repeats of the same entries over and over again. PLEASE CAHNGE THIS SYSTEM FOR NEXT TIME! PLEASSEEEE!!!!
