You can overlay with official unrevamped site-art. As long as the color and specie match.
I'm sorry but I find what you said absolutely funny, I mean wow. It's that serious? I'm sorry but maybe you didn't like your pet as a Bloodred Tigrean to begin with if all it takes is a revamp to make you pound it. I mean you could have just gotten an overlay of the old version, then your problem would have been solved. Also while I'll miss the cute little tuffs of hair the Tigrean's had on their heads, I think these updates are lovely :3, they look more fierce and strong. The chibi Tigrean is esp. adorable and needed a revamp BADLY if you ask me.
Some of the comments on this thread are appaling.
When people say "you can get an overlay" they mean you can overlay your pet with the old art. You can also use Greasemonkey to replace images on the site however you want, so I don't understand why people see no option besides changing/dumping their pet.
People are actually complaining that they are too 'real' or 'detailed'?? Seriously?
Not sure about the Irions, but the Tigreans look awesome!
Also if anyone's super upset and wants an overlay for their tigrean using old art but with changed colors I will gladly do some for you for free

I appreciate the artwork, and the effort put in by the artists, but I too feel that these updates are missing out on some of the classic character details the old versions included. I also feel that there are other species that could use an update a lot more than the species that have been updated! The poor serpenth special colors are still ages old. And I do mean ages.
On a final note, I would like to express my sadness at the removal of the purple accents on the Twilight tigrean. That was one of my favorite parts of that color, where now it just looks like a melanistic tiger. The cream tigrean did turn out quite well, though.

I really didn't like the proposed revamp for the tigrean but this one is really really really really nice WOW A+ and those irions goodbye I'm going to just sob uncontrollably I had a really good day today thank you subeta I'm crying

The Tigrean revamps are overall stunning, but something about the facial expression on the BR one seems a little off. Not sure what it is.

i personally love the pets. i do not see what the big deal is about the updates and if you do not like the updates you can always get overlays. i find it very rude that their are people that are complaining about the updates, the artists are working hard to update the artwork for everyone on the site and you could be a lot nicer to them.

In all honesty, I have not been fond of the new updated pets species recently (besides the Chai). This includes the new Festers, Mortikings, and soon-to-be Waradors. Unfortunately, whenever there is a poll about whether or not a species should be updated, I always have the minority vote on no. The new Tigreans (and Festers, especially) have lost much of their character with these updates in my opinion. The cartoon-like expressions, colors, and simpler textures was what made them unique and more charming, and is why I am drawn to Subeta pets. These updates make them look just too 'real'; the Festers have lost their signature bright green mohawk and bright yellow beak, and they now just look like ordinary birds of prey with duller colors and expressions. The new Tigrean is not as bad off as the new Fester, but now it just looks like a big scary brute rather than the signature sharp eyed cool-cat it once was. I am not saying that the new artwork is bad at all, it is quite good! It just seems out of place and unnecessary.

The Dark Matter and Bloodred are fine. I like Chibi's face, but it doesn't really look like a Chibi pet. I don't like the new common. I own a Dawn Tigrean and now she's all bulky and manly. The art is good, but it's a complete change of what Tigreans have always been up until now. If I wanted a bulky cat pet I would have made her an Archan. Now we have the cute Feli and two bulky cats but no sleek one like the old Tigrean was.

Personally I love these... The old one was cute and cuddly but the new ones look nice and fierce (except for the chibi, that's still adorables)!
Now looking at the new re-colours, it's only the common that looks really bad. The Chibi isn't that fantastic, but Arid and Cream look pretty cool. I'm not happy about updates of the look... I'm going to save my colours and keep them thank you >.< I really don't like this realism. It took away from the fantasy of the tiger. Now, it just looks like a regular, mundane tiger. RIP creativity...

Lovely job on the revamps. The Tigrean is my favorite pet species by far but can we get a do-over on the chibi? I find it rather...creepy-there was nothing wrong with the old pose either.

Well I was looking forward to see this revamp happen... however, I won't be getting any of those Tigrean colors.. that have been revamped... the basic colors maybe but not those three.. Something just seems off to me about them =/ I usually like Chibis but this one.. I wasn't in love with no.. I don't think I will get any of the colors for it.
