I've been holding my rift staff trying to decide whether to sell or use for wardrobe. But with people deleting them for the achievement the prices will probably go up. It's just too cool to delete and looks better than the headress for wearing.

UGH DAMN IT I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE SAVED ALL THOSE POINTS. But no, I had to waist them all on copies of everything that I didn't want just so I could not feel guilty about wasting a bunch of points. :/

I ended up getting the achievement, but only because I had enough points to get almost everything in the shop, on top of what I had already bought, after I bought the staff. And I may buy another for selling purposes, since a lot of the prizes don't appeal that much to me. Or aren't that expensive to buy from other users. c:

Fiiine. I'm going to get another staff from someone and sell the headdress. If I wasn't going for every title I probably could/if I didn't want the title almost as badly as I want "The Doctor", I would've just bought one of the remaining Frankencluck pieces I'm missing.

(I'm not even a huge Doctor Who fan, for the record. :P)

I'm actually really tempted to do this. I got the staff, which I don't much care for, as another wearable on my way to the wardrobe achievements and because I had planned to sell it later. Later profit or tiara, that's the question now.

-- Prize shop opened late on the 25th, so it's only been two days. :) We would have released this earlier, but it takes time for an artist (Rah, in this case) to draw a cool item/wearable for us.

Why wasn't this achievement created immediately after the plot? Then if we didn't already spend most of our points away we'd still have a chance of getting this. >:C Also, I could never get past the game because I never win at chance games...there's no way I could win five of those card games! No way! I am SO mad right now.

The staff was never meant to be cheat. It was a mistake and the staff made a way of correcting the mistake.

Personally I like this idea... could be worse they could have taken back EVERY user's staff and replaced the points then put the staff's price up to their real one.

: No problem. There was a forum post where Cranberry explained the issue. I'm glad to see that a solution was decided on that wouldn't have decreased the stats (not that my pets are anywhere near being able to play with it yet!).

There is no possible way for me to get that staff as I didn't participate much in the event (and I want all the wearables or as much as possible.) I have no hope of obtaining one (unless someone is willing to give me one).

Completely agree with InSaNe. If the staff is more important to you, then keep it. If you'd rather have the title/headdress, then you're basically just exchanging 1,000 plot points to get the wearable you'd prefer to own.

I want the staff, so I'm just going to shrug at the existence of the achievement and move on. (After all, it's not like achievements really DO anything.)
