NEW PET COLOR: Sweetheart

I have been hearing people are wishing for sickness from Underground. The CID has truly taken care of that with their vaccines, but I may be able to offer a compromise! All those candy hearts that were previously used to cure Underground viruses in Subetans have another effect entirely on our pets! (Why didn't I think of this sooner?!)

Behold, the sweetheart harvester, jollin, and lain (with more to come)! Think of it as a cross between love "sickness" and a sugar rush! If you like these as much as I do, the new potion sells in the L'Amour Parlor, of course! Come see me.

Heh, typically I hate harvesters, but this is one is adorable and I want to cuddle him. And normally I ADORE jollins but the eyes on this one give me the creeps. And I'm cool with no zombies this year. It was getting predictable, tbh, plus every year there was more and more griping about the "offensiveness" of the strains. It was really getting pretty ridiculous. A new pet color, a new shop and access to the underground are all perfectly okay imo.

They're cute but.... It's not really the Pandemic without the zombie strains. I mean. Without the disease strains it's just like every other Valentine's Day event. All cute, no quirk.

really love that there are more cute Valentines things this year, it's refreshing! All three of these pets are super darling, but my favorite would have to be the lain. Oh goodness what wonderful shading and fluffiness and what a cute birdy baby precious sweetie. I love that it's gripping the string with its foot ;; and the headtilt and the wink and all the little hearts!! abububu i just want to take it and kiss its little head.

There will probably (hopefully) be zombies later.. you know once we have a false sense of security the vaccine will start to fail or cause viruses. xD

Anyway this new colour is adorable and I'm glad it's not a cash shop colour. Hope to see some of the more neglected pets in new colours soon... come on Bhakoru! :D

I haven't been playing long enough to experience a pandemic before, but even I find it obvious that Subeta celebrating a straightforward, normal valentine's season is probably part of a joke and things will no doubt take a turn for the bizarre pretty soon.
