Job Agency Beta Release

Subeta is proud to announce the beta release of the Job Agency to Gold Account members. As always, we have appropriated a thread on the Gold Account forums for feedback and bug reporting. Enjoy!

Note: The SAI is not in the beta version, but it will be returned in the full release.

For those of you do not have a a Gold Account membership and are interested in testing the beta version: consider purchasing a 1 Week Gold Account Medal or a 1 Month Gold Account Medal at the Cash Shop. Just please be aware that all game data will be cleared at the end of beta testing and the feature will be released to all as new.

To me it's a great idea except for those of us that put a lot of effort into training our active pet for the SAI - can't that one thing be kept - I know I will hate to lose it?

Whew, I'm glad my concerns were unfounded then. I don't mind waiting on beta stuff at all. And yah, Keith, I know that ;P I just thought from the wording of the news post that it was going to be that way for good from now on. The edit really clears that up though so now I look paranoid XDDD

Honestly, I also intensely dislike this, and I didn't even have the SAI job. My original reading pet wasn't my battle pet. So now I have to pour tons of points into her to train her for no reason (especially in LEVEL), even though she's read tens of millions of points worth of books? Just... no. The pay isn't anywhere near high enough to justify this sort of expenditure.

I'm gonna say it sucks to take away the pet's job, but in ALL HONESTY there was no way I checked up on that every day so nothing was lost really. If there is a means of making it better and useful then good for the gold account members. Makes it worth something.

Ah, intelligent pet... getting no jobs now. Needs to level up it's level and strength even though it makes no sense for his story. Yay.. sarcastic love inserted here So glad I spent all that time working towards the SAI job. insert fart noises Oh well.. no jobs for me anymore I guess. Rather be jobless than put points into something that makes no sense story line wise. I'm CDO that way. (It's like OCD, but in alphabetical order like it should be.)

It would be nice to see the 1 Week Gold Account medal temporarily available in the Millionaire Center like it has been very very few times in the past for 24 hours.

sabishisa: Please understand that this is only the beta release and that when the feature is error-free and ready, it will be released to all of Subeta, regardless of GA membership status.

Beta testing, however, is strictly limited to Gold Account members, as listed as one of the perks in the Cash Shop.

This kind of covers a lot of the complaints I've seen so far. =/ It seems you won't have to have a gold account once everything is fully released. The GA is only required for testing, so those who don't have/want GAs just have to be patient for the full release. Also, SAI will return, in some form or another.

Glad to see the revamp, but while I'm not concerned about some 5k, I AM worried about whether or not the Sai Job achievement is going to be retired? I was working towards getting that achievement. :( Otherwise, this is kinda fun. I like knowing what needs to be improved to work towards a certain job and the like. <3

For clarification, I'm not 'whining' about loosing 5k. I just don't think its very fair to suddenly have a very normal part of the site be something you have to pay for. I can't always afford a GA (yes, even though it IS only 5$ a month, not all of us have the luxury of extra cash) so now I'm forced to miss out on something that should be for everyone. Paying for more plays, more quests, more layers, beta privileges, special items, etc is fine... but paying for the ability to even do something at all? Not cool. I just hope that once the revamp is finished that the GA-exclusive thing is revoked. It just doesn't sit well with me at all and it has me worried about what else will become GA-exclusive. Let's face it, there's not much to do 'game-wise' on this site besides quests.

I am NOT in love with this. Warning: whinge ahead. My principal pet had the SAI job, and both his and another pet's story are in part based around him having that job. If it was just a matter of reapplying, I wouldn't mind, but as far as I can tell, that job is no longer available. I don't care at all about the salary - I forgot to collect it half the time anyway - but it makes me sad that it's affected his backstory. :(

Ha, only the intelligent (and higher level) pets got work, the others got rejected in every single job. XD I guess I have to put more effort on my other pets as well. :P

For those saying I shouldn't complain about the SAI job my pet has now lost, I read a LOT of books and spent a lot of money to get that job, and I was happy to log in every morning and collect my 5,100 from it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm entitled to whine about it a little. Guess I'll see what the new system holds and try to reserve judgment.

Hm. Too busy to justify buying GA just for this as I probably wouldn't have time to make use of the GA, but definitely excited to see the Job Agency getting a revamp.

Wow, I had almost completely forgotten about this feature. I guess my pets that originally had jobs were fired but that's fine. It's really nice to see the staff paying attention to older parts of the site that really need to be revamped.

Yay, Job Agency Revamp! Too bad I can't test it (my internet connection is too broken for me to justify shelling out for a GA right now), but will be interested to hear about the new version... Every time I went to collect my daily 5k I couldn't help but think how badly that place needed updating. So glad it's getting some attention; thank you Subeta staff. :)

Gool. I was kinda lax about the job center before; this will give me an inceptive to actually do something with it. =D Too bad the Magic Shop isn't an option. That would have fit my main pet perfectly. She'll just have to suffer as a maid instead. -cackle-
