Old hat joke at best, but the items, minion, and overlay are so perfectly picked. I have always been a fan of her red suit. Also, that portrait is just lovely. Even with the silly pancake hat.

Ambition - Considering this pet has the most comments of any spotlight winner ever (that wasn't a false win,) I'd say this does appeal to a wide demographic on the site. Sorry it goes against your political stance but really, this is not hate speech.

I do think the page would have been nicer without comic sans though hahaha.

Why shouldn't this pet be given the Spotlight recognition? B| The design of the page is well done, the treasure chest items are fitting and humorous, and the "speech" is very appropriate for the joke that's being made. Is it going to be funny to everyone? No. Is it offensive to some people? Sure, but Keith and the Subeta admins have always been pretty consistent in allowing potentially offensive material to stay on the site, as long as it isn't hate speech (which this isn't, and if you think it is then you don't know what hate speech is.) Subeta is a PG-13 site, and if you're 13 or over, you should probably be mature enough to handle seeing viewpoints that you don't agree with.

(I can see it from my house, gee whiz, golly, you betcha etc.)

Like Ninael said, that's not hate speech. Also, it's not that she doesn't like U.S. of America... It's that she horribly fails at her job. And her logic and intelligence isn't the best. Patriotism =/= eligibility for leadership. What we need is intelligence. Which there seems to be a lack of among the politicians lately...

Guess even Subeta gets some white knights once in a while.

I am likewise unhappy (disappointed) with subeta-people-owners for approving hate-speech of any kind affiliation or denomination. I do not think it should be approved, endorsed or applauded in any way on this site.

There are many other pet owners who have actually spent time and effort to create a pet look-up that is clever in ways that a much broader base of subetians can appreciate.

I agree with free speech, but there should be some sort of UNBIASED censorship on this site. I hope that the next winner of the pet spotlight, will be someone who has spent time in creating an opposition to the statements made by this pet spotlight winner; or at least a balancing agenda. If both sides are presented, then all is equal.

Memnoch, making fun of someone is not "hate speech", hate speech is in laymans terms, being mean to someone because of their race/religion/disability etc. This is poking fun at a politician who says stupid stuff sometimes. It is not hate speech in any way. It's mean to Sarah Palin yes, but is Subeta promoting Hate Speech by allowing us to poke fun at her? Not at all.
