bought csc to change my username. i enter the new username and enter my password. it sends me to a page asking for me to confirm my current username, and the username i want to switch to. i hit confirm and it gives me an error saying i need to enter my password (for security) which i did???

seven days and nothing... while a problem posted two days ago just got fixed. im not one to spend real life money on virtual stuff but really want a name change and am tired of waiting to have made enough sp to buy the csc that way for said name change. i sincerely regret spending my money now and wish i could get a refund. this has shown me how little my money means to the site.

this just happened to me and my Loyalty Username Totem disappeared afterwards 😭
- I feel like I would file a ticket in this case. From my understanding, when purchasing with csc it doesnt take any csc out of the account and we just need to wait to change, but if youre saying that the totem is no longer in your inventory and your name isnt changed then thats a different story and I assume should be on record through filing a ticket that something actually got removed from your account.
ill be honest. im extremely angry at this point. 14 days, zero response, and at least two things that have been reported after me have been resolved before me. im not trying to be an entitled prick or anything, i know youre busy and NEVER expect my problems to be resolved immediately. but not even a "hey im looking into this" while fixing other issues? for 14 days? when the problem im having involves me having actually spent money? im disappointed and like i said, very angry. at this point im about ready to demand my money be returned and just quit subeta.

It's been almost a year since I used my Username Totem and couldn't change my username, but I still have it available for me to use and change my username someday, when it is possible.
Hey all — I'm really sorry for the silence on this one. This slipped past me for way too long and I know that's especially rough when actual money and Loyalty Totems are involved.
The bug was real and frustrating: the PHP 8.4 upgrade earlier this year changed how form POSTs get read, and the username-change confirmation step got caught in that — it wasn't carrying your password forward to the second step, so the server saw an empty password field and bailed out. No way for anyone to complete the change through the form, and no clear signal on my end that it was happening.

thanks so much for the fix, all is good now!! I'm not sure why I would have 3 credits (as the user fka Kitling) instead of just 1 except that I initially tried to change my username twice before this last try only to get an error saying I needed to enter my password and I just decided to come back and try later. Which is to say, I don't think I came by those credits honestly so please feel free to take them away!! I'm just happy to have the bug fixed. :)

That likely happened since you initially tried to change it twice, and any change would have left the credit on your account! If you have questions/concerns about the amount that you have, it's best to fill out a ticket.
