My Subeta Memory

My favorite Subeta memory, though hard to pick just one, might just be the time where and I had a joint art shop! I even still have the old billboard from 10-15ish years ago, as well as the adorable birthday card she sent me for my 14th or 15th birthday. I loved being able to meet her and having the utter joy of collabing with her, as well as meeting other friends such as (just to name one of MANY amazing people) that I still talk to today! ❤️ And for those that I don't get to talk to, if you ever read this, I hope ya'll know how much I love ya'll and miss you guys!!

EDIT: Also just wanted to add that I loved when the CW system first came out and being so excited whilst taking on a comm for for the first CW onsite I believe. (Songster Blazer!) I also love how much love and joy is poured into the whole site, not just that facet of it. Ty subeta team! ❤️

I'd love to see more subeta lore! I'd also love to possibly bring things back like the art oekaki, though I'm sure that may be hard to moderate 24/7. Also would love to see another Subeta meet up happen; I wasn't able to go to the one ya'll had previously.

Mine's maybe bittersweet? But way back to the beginning when you actually had to completely reset everything, we all started from scratch. It lead to a heated rivalry in pet training which eventually resolved into a few of the best online friendships I've had.

This is hard, because I'm really just mildly active anymore, life has gotten busy. But I always enjoy seeing achievements that feel challenging but not insanely impossible.

i think one of my favorite memories has to have been the bad omen plot -- it had its ups and downs, but it was really fun chatting with my team even if we had a hard time during the mountain climb part (: i liked the murder mystery one too, but at that time i didn't like posting on the forums so i wasn't as invested.

	I remember when I first started playing Subeta back in middle school! My parents were helicopter 'the internet is bad' parents, so they found out and forbid it shortly after, but I found my way back and have loved seeing all the new changes!

I know it's sort of based on the players as well, but I remember sifting through the adoption agency very fondly! Seeing silly names or getting pets from there was a lot of fun

One of my fondest, oldest memories on Subeta is/was being one of the leaders of Four Forest Clans, one of the biggest Cults on the site at the time, which was dedicated to Warrior cats RP (skull emoji). We had a really active group of people and we were just all obsessed with Warriors, RP, and writing. Shoutout kazii, demonic_horse, Fruity, and Tasuki who are no longer around, and any friends who were last active 10-15+ years ago T_T </3 I actually ended up meeting one of them IRL which was really cool (and a bit scary at the time since we were all underage LOL but it worked out perfectly fine and it was so awesome to meet an online friend in person for the first time).

Something I'd Love to See

I really prefer the layout/look of the original site over Kumos, so I'd love to see the Kumos updates but somehow integrated there (I know nothing about web dev so apologies if this is an unreasonable ask). Or to somehow change the layout/look of Kumos to look like the original, but with the new features. Anyway, I'm just happy the site is still around, thanks for everything staff does <3

I think i have a lot of genuinely good memories of this site in general, just having fun and enjoying the community! There have always been such good people here, and I've drifted in and out a lot over the years, but I'd have to say there's definitely an event that stands out in my memory as a personal favorite. I absolutely loved the Morostide Plot in 2018! It was an enjoyable story and easy to participate in everything, and I really liked all the rewards in the shop. The ending was really cool too.

My favorite Subeta memory was when me and several other CW releasers hosted an event called 'CW Fest'. Its main purpose was to get more users to be involved in CWs. I became friends with many of the participants and those friendships last into 2026. It was a time when I loved the process of commissioning CWs and sharing them with the community. I haven't stopped releasing CWs since 2017 and I always love to see what people make with my CWs on their HAs!

I'd love to see some things actually:

• A way to showcase our owned CWs besides using the wishlist feature or pet pages. Pet pages have a character limit that could be easily hit with a wardrobe my size. The wishlist feature tends to make dupes or somehow unwishlist an item I did not remember unwishlisting.
• Wishlists marking if we own an item on our account, that would be useful for Lumi gifting.

Something I'd Love to See

I'd love to see some kind of community submitted art collection/contest/gallery. I feel like subeta used to have one of those way back in the day, but I might be misremembering. But that's one of my favorite thing to do on pet sites right now, is watch and contribute to on site art contests, galleries, etc. I don't even particularly care if there were any rewards, maybe an achievement or forum title or whatever. I just think it'd be nice to see user art submissions of subeta pets, NPCs, human avatars, etc.

My favorite memory was my first Masquerade. I had no idea what I was doing but I got to dress up and dance with my friend who introduced me to the site. I took screenshots of us dancing together. My wardrobe has expanded since then. And actually knowing what I’m doing.

I like changing my layout on old Subeta to match the season with the Theme Layout Scheme. I’m not super tech savvy so I like the preset ones and I managed to get a hidden one for Morostide. But I only alternate between the Morostide and the Arctic ones. I’ll put the Masquerade one on if I remember to change it. But I was wondering if there could be a few more holiday choices achievable during events.

My biggest memory was joining Subeta after Neopets took a massive dive. I have a bit of a pet addiction, so the freedom to have so many pets really made the sale! Hahaha! Then I met the community. there were the occaional troll of course, but Subeta didn't have the scammer problem that Neopets did. the community turned out to be more mature, and infinitely kinder. People helped me out of genuine kindness to get event achievements, and it inspired me to pay it forward. Ever since the first pumpkin carving/deleting achievement came out, I've been paying it forward for ALL events, because I actually WANTED to become part of the community. I have yet to regret coming here.

Something I'd Love to See

I'd love to see the pets complete their color schemes. It was promised long ago that eventually, every pet would be available in every color. Subeta has worked hard toward that goal. but there have been dry periods, especially during holidays, where new colors would be the perfect time to come out. Some colors (Ex: Angelic: only need Harvester, Zentu) only have a few pets left to come out. Others (Ex: Riftborn) have a lot of pets left to come out in. While I love seeing new colors come out (OMG those gem encrusted Colosseum opponets make me drool for a color scheme!) and would definitely want to see more colors come out, my biggest wish is for the site to establish the current colors for the pets.

my favorite memories are probably from the times 8-9 years ago when i was just starting college and i would wake up early in the morning before getting ready to go to class to just to do wizard & saggi quests ;-; simple memories from good times i didnt realize were so good

My best memories will be the subeta events like the Masquarade murder plot! There was also the Skitters and Fantine's love story/plot (RIP Elsie TT). I always look forward to the many holiday events and the form threads that pop up. I have been playing for 18 years now (oh how that time flies) and am mostly a wardrobe player so I don't always interact with the forums but the holidays and events always get me back on for extended amounts of time.

I understand that the team is much smaller than it used to be so longer events probably may not be as possible anymore, but I would love to see more of Subeta expand plot wise. Other wise, I would love more wearable items. I love this human avatar system so so much and it always makes me happy to play dress up.

One thing that I genuinely appreciate is the fact that the staff really listen to suggestions users make. A favorite memory of mine is suggesting some more mohawk hairstyles and even a mohawk knit cap, and the staff actually drew them and released them! It was so exciting to see that something I suggested made it on site, and it feels good to know that the staff really does care about player input.

Something I look forward to before each holiday is reading the player-submitted holiday suggestion threads and then later seeing how many of the items do make it on site. Thank you, Subeta, for being so player-centric!

Something I'd Love to See

I always enjoyed the plots that the site used to have. They included more than just lore and story, but often had puzzles or something fun that users achieved together. While I realize these probably take a lot of time and effort, I'd love to see new plot events!

Thank you for 21 years of Subeta! Many things that I used to enjoy as a younger person have faded away or I've lost interest in them, but I still come back to Subeta every day. Thank you for all the work you do to keep this community going!
