Happy Anni ! And Happy Subby Anni <3
I hate snow storms. Since 1 am this morning, we have gotten 9.2 inches of snow and it's still coming down as a mixture of snow and ice. We are in a winter storm until noon tomorrow.
edit: We are now up to 13.6 inches of snow and are on a Level 3 snow emergency, which means only emergency crews should be out on the roads. They will give tickets to people who choose to ignore this and go out on the road.
Are you also getting alot of snow in Cincinnati?

We sure are! I have about 12 inches right now and it's still coming down. I shoveled about a third of my driveway and a path down my driveway so I can visit and help out a neighbor across the street later. The snow by the street is probably 18-20 inches because of the snow plows, and its getting heavy from the salt and ice. We are still on a Level 2. Stay warm my friend, looks like we will be in for a while!
I haven't heard any plows outside and I am a couple of blocks from the hospital. Usually I here them because they need to plow the street leading to the hospital for emergencies. It is still snowing here also. You also stay warm and don't overdo it with shoveling the snow.

Here in lower PA we got 10.2 inches and now the sleet begins. It's now 9:16 pm here

: They raised the level to 3 right after I posted. I have heard the plows every so often. My Ring camera caught them going by about every 3β4 hours. I am definitely surprised that you havenβt heard them. I figured that would be the first places cleared, since emergency vehicles would need to get in and out. It finally stopped snowing at about 9 p.m. last night, but the wind is blowing around a bit. I just finished my driveway. It took me three times, but I got it clear enough to get out, lol. We are in for record low temperatures. The news said that the wind chill factor could get to -25 tonight. Iβm sure youβre probably the same, if not colder. : The sleet makes it so much worse! We were lucky to just get snow. I hate to hear that. Please stay safe and warm. I hope you have someone to care for anything that needs it outside. I guess if anything good came out of this, itβs that the storm waited until after my brotherβs memorial. He passed away earlier this month. Everyone was able to make it there and home safely.
Belated wishes to Riu and Nicole Happy Anniversary ! Happy Subby Anniversary

About an hour ago they changed our level to 2. One of my neighbors used their snowblower to go up and down our street to clean the sidewalk. They also shoveled my steps and path in the front of my house. Last night and today they came by with the trucks to clean the main street going to the hospital. Our street only has one pass on it and it's still full of snow. They never go through the alley in the street behind my house where my garage is. I can't get my garage door open anyway as it's too cold and it won't open if it's below 32 degrees fahrenheit. I have an appointment on Wednesday in Canton, OH at Aultman Hospital. I get a ride there through my insurance company. This week I think the highest temperature will be 20 degrees.
I am sorry to hear about your brother.
Hello π± πΆ

well we only got a little sleet. Not enough to make anything dangerous thank goodness. Its all good. Im pretty self sufficient and still strong enough in my old age to do it. I hope everyone in the states that got a lot of ice are all well and safe. Be careful if you go out. We needed the snow but not the ice. Take care everyone. Stay warm.

I'm glad to hear that you have cleared out and you will have safe access to your appointment. I think we have below freezing temperatures for the next week or so. Looks like a good week for soups and stews! Thank you for your condolences. This has been pretty rough on my family :( I'm glad you're able to take care of your needs and that you didn't get a lot of sleet. That can make travel extremely difficult.
