Hi everyone! I'm Flier and I used to play a lot back in the day but then went on a many years hiatus - I logged in about a week ago and got back into battling! Raffe is my battle pet and he's still a baby compared to everyone else🙈 (almost to tier 6!) but I got to level 20 for the first time in battle quests (though couldn't complete that level haha) and also got my very first very hard tokens ever c:

Random question, when do people start using stat boosters? I imagine when you get into higher tiers when it's expensive and time consuming to level up? But curious what that timeline looks like for people!

I haven't saved any since it honestly feels really far away and I'm a bit impulsive and not future planning haha

It is different for everyone. Now that I have a ton of battle pets I wait a lot longer before I use my boosters. I try to train as much with the free EXP I get from BQ's and battling.

I don't know how long you have been gone, but you can now earn amulets in tomes at certain amount of wins against the challengers too.

Easy - Amulets at wins 50 and 100, Tome at 150 Medium - Amulets at 25 and 50, Tome at 75 Hard - Amulet at 25, Tome at 50 Very Hard - Tomes at wins 15 and 35 Extremely Hard - Tomes at wins 15 and 25 Impossible - Tomes at wins 10, 15, and 20

Between all the EXP that can be earned and the amulets and tomes for wins you can train pretty easy and quick now. Best of luck to you.

Welcome back. Lyn made great points. I would use boosters to reach cap because once you hit tier 13 stats double up in EXP price.

thank you so much for the info, that is super helpful! the last time i properly played a lot was probably 2016ish, and then random seasons here and there until 2022ish and then maybe once a year after that - but, i definitely missed the battle revamp since all my stats/"wins/losses" appear to have reset to 0, so I'm guessing it's a new system? And I missed whenever legacy names became a thing, among other changes 😂

You're welcome. it really is a preference. Though there is a huge difference/jump in exp costs from a T-12 pet to a T-13 pet.

T12 EXP cost

Str - 1250 Def - 1250 Health - 1500 Speed - 1250

T13 EXP cost

Str - 3750 Def - 3750 Health - 4500 Speed - 3750

Once you get over T12 it is pretty much impossible to get enough EXP to make a difference. That is where boosters are pretty much the only form of training at that point.

I use boosters sometimes when I am feeling in a rut and want to get to the next tier. It all depends on how you are feeling. You might have extra boosters after an events., specially after Moro!!

Oh wow, yeah, that's a huge price difference! Raffe just got to Tier 6 yesterday(!) so it'll be awhile 😂 (reviewing his weapons rn to see if i should change anything around) At this tier, I think the BQ's really helps it go faster.
