I turned in a card and it's nice to get the discount on Kumos shops now, I'm not sure if there's a better way to display the discount price vs regular price since there's no purchase screen anymore, but it seems weird that it adds a whole extra line to each item in the shops.

For Kumos quests, I have a window open with Legacy shop search, and I copy and paste each item name to complete Kumos quests. I will keep my discount card on the Legacy site at this time. I also think the discount card should remain an item that can be sold/traded if no longer desired.
The Kumos site is clunky and slow. A new, improved site should not be clunkier and slower than its predecessor. I want a smooth, seamless experience while online, and I just don't get that currently from Kumos. Hopefully resources will be put into making Kumos smoother and better than Legacy. The bells and whistles can come later. Just my .02.

you don't need to copy/paste, click on the item asked for, then you can choose account search or user shop search (like on legacy item hovers), both will open in legacy - that's faster.
Thanks! I remembering trying this early on, but it seemed slower. It's faster now, so I'll give that a go when I complete my quests later.

It’s basically up to you! Discount cards are pretty expensive, so I’d just check out the prices and see if one would be a worthwhile purchase based on how much you restock. I’ve had mine for a while, but I’m sure for many people they wouldn’t be worth it.
—- I must admit, while I’ve got more practice restocking on here recently, it’s really rough going compared to legacy. Removing the search within shops without adding an actual shop search and with such extreme pagination makes shops really hard/a pain to use. The increased prices make me (and I assume others) grumpy as they’re often higher than in user shops. Not being able to see which items you’ve already ‘maxed out’ by purchasing up to the limit is also a pain and causes me to waste time checking. Having some sort of indicator would be very helpful. Having things sorted by when they restocked is mentally tiring, especially when there are so many pages to sort through.
And of course half of kumos still doesn’t work on my ipad - I /still/ can’t remove items from vault at all, and typing all this without the textbox registering correctly to allow autocorrect was… oof.
What, where did all my spacing go?! :(
Agreed with several other posters so far. I am going to refrain from submitting my discount card until such time as ALL the Kumos shops are up and running smoothly. I'm not comfortable at all with losing my discount card when the new site is still so clunky in design & use, and several of the shops aren't even open yet. The fact we lose the discount on Legacy is the cherry on top. Plus I feel kinda burned in how it seems to be a running trend where a new feature on Kumos gets unvealed, and that feature works until it hits multiple bumps, and then the site moves on to revealing something else, leaving the previous features half-rolled out and glitchy. Several regular shops aren't running yet, none of the seasonal or special shops either. Quests are super buggy, only one working quest shop is up, and the tile game hasn't been fixed in over a month. The vending machines only had one moved over in months. Due to that sort of stalled-out roll-out history, I need to see far more reliable effort on getting that side of Kumos up and running before making that leap.

I love the new Kumos quests, and I can't compare exactly to legacy because I didn't do them that often--mainly because of all the repetitive motion with paging back and forth with the mouse. (I'm old, lol). So the new ones don't require all that and seem very easy and simple to complete, much less labor intensive. Also, I think it's great that the items in vault are readily available to remove into the inventory AND I am earning at least 2 million sP daily with these quests. It only takes me about 20 minutes to complete them--and I could, potentially, do them more quickly but sometimes I'm puttering about looking for specific user shops to buy from. :)
We really need to fix Kumos site before anymore bells and whistles roll out. I can't even quest because NPC shops don't work and the spacing of text is almost off the screen and is unusable on mobile. I have to have the legacy site up and this site while I quest. It's very frustrating.
since I always thought about upgrading my discount card from the 20 to the 30 card I'll just keep the 20 for legacy like I always have and turn in a 30 for kumos so that can start working on that end. that'll be great since I've been missing the discount on kumos shops.
regarding the issue with getting items out of the vault for kumos quests; I've always just hit the shop search option and then hovered over the pic to select account search and find it that way. I do that with a lot of items since my shops aren't listed at the top either so it'll show in the legacy window
Can you clarify how this will affect members who only use subeta.net?
Besides the potential closing of NPC shops for main-site users.
I actually did the same thing; kept my 20% discount on legacy and bought a 30% one for here! So far it's working out. Good idea to try to use the hover/legacy on my iPad when I have to, thank you! :) I got so frustrated trying to get the remove button to work at all.
Thanks for listening to us and removing pagination in shops and adding a sort! A-Z will take some getting used to vs by date added to site, but the consistency is amazing. :)
and if you let Keith know which pages are hard to use on mobile it seems like hes been fixing those so they don't expand off the screen like they do. I never brought it up before because I didn't use kumos much except for quests but then quests became impossible and he fixed that after he was made aware of it. I know there are other areas (like Reaper meantioned the forums here) but sometimes I feel like a bother but really mentioning it is just helping him fix things so users can access the site better. It'd be hard for him to check everything himself. And I'm glad that my little work around with questing can help you.
user shops still goes off the screen for quests and they never did that before until 3 days ago or so.
I don't love the idea of legacy shops closing. All I do on Kumos is some questing; I like the layout and feel of the legacy site. After being there many years, I'd really prefer to stay with that. As nice as it would be to not have my discount card taking up a constant inventory slot, there's no way I would 'consume' it unless it works there also.

I turned in a discount card in Kumos.

Anyone, WRF is wrong with subeta?! Stuck on a quest, keep getting same items again and again even if I submited them 4 times, and gate time out 504, can;t access forums there, WTF?!
Discount Card 202,954,258 sP Saved - that's in 18 years, I restock a lot and this is falsified by all the Free Shop purchases!
this is great! I really love not having to have this card in my inventory! Kudos!!

Could you please explain how closing the shops would work for users still restocking and questing on the main site? Would this coincide with the closing of most of the main site (in other words, it wouldn't happen until Kumos is ready to take over full site function) or would users need to jump from main-site questing to kumos shops and hope for the best?
I do as little as possible on Kumos, so it would be extremely disadvantageous to accidentally turn in a discount card at this stage of development. Can you give any timeline or estimate when the balance of convenience would shift, for any players who might not wish to be involved in beta testing?
