My wizard quests haven't been resetting with the rest of the quests; it still says "You've reached your daily limit for this quest. Try again tomorrow!" even though I haven't done any today and my other quests just reset (it's said this for multiple days now, without me doing a single new wizard quest).

I agree. The legacy quest system has been tweaked over many years so it's great now. Underneath each item requested is a Shop Search button. The legacy shop search shows if there are any of the item for sale in the NPC shop with the option to buy and if there are any of the item for sale in our own shops with the option to remove one.
It's bad enough when Maleria asks for three items in the legacy quests so Pete asking for four items is just too much work for little reward.
Under the legacy system Library quests ask for one book. Many years ago there was an experiment where they asked for more books but this caused awful book inflation because players need to read books to their pets for intelligence (job promotions) and AP points (battling). When Libary quests are moved to the Kumos system please keep it to one book per quest. All the other quests just ask for two items except for Maleria who occasionally asks for three.
Same error happening this morning (Previous post with screenshot) but so far only when Rumi asks for the
I still had it in my inventory after the first 'error quest' I had to quit. I tried handing in the items for the second quest where Rumi asked for the same sticker again - it took the Tiny Morostide Spider Stickers (not the other two that were asked for) and gave me an error because I didn't have them all on hand, then when I bought another and tried again, it still gave the error :(

I'm bummed with changing quests. I wonder if part of the reason was the unsustainability of new seasonal quest shop items with every season? I wouldn't have minded not having new items every season.
The thing about quest points is they were reliable over time and with the breadth of quest shop items, there was something to spend them on. Quests were always about getting sp income and anything else was a bonus like quest item rewards or quest shop points.
I worry the rep system has the way of going like the blue building shop where you rank up fast and past like a few days of questing, there's really no benefit to gaining shop rank itself. I'm worried about quickly attained imbalance. The npc related rep is a neat idea in theory. I just worry. :s
Runway Ready is terrible! Users have jacked up prices to the max. It asks for items that are 100Million! It is the worst quest ever!
Came from the news post. Donβt have the time atm to read the whole thread. I donβt care for the new quests at all. Yes I know itβs still a WIP.
But the quests as they have been for however many years is a nice comforting thing where I know what to expect and how long it takes and it works on my phone which is all I use for Internet.
The system seems fair to everyone.
What do we have to do to keep quests the way they are? If itβs getting rid of quest points, ok. What else?
I started here when I was really sick in my 30βs. I would chat here and work on pets and galleries stuff. I donβt do a bunch of things on the site anymore but I do come here almost every day to do my quests, regular and battle. If quests become a pain Iβll barely spend time here anymore and that gives me the sad.
Thatβs my rant, fwiw.

Bought all three items for Rumi's Sticker Resistance quest. Turned them in, but did not get anything back. Bought them a second time. I received the error message "Error completing quest: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'subeta.user_shops' doesn't exist (Connection: mysql, SQL: select min(user_shop_prices.price) as aggregate from user_shop_prices inner join user_shops on user_shop_prices.shopid = user_shops.shopid where itemid = 142748 and user_shops.closed = 0)" for both turn ins.
I just tried the runway one and the user prices are crazy now. It's just not worth it. Also tried Saggi and didn't get far either. His payout isn't as good as it was before. 50k? That's what I spent on the items! Also, can we have the 'start a new quest' acutally start a new quest, rather than going back to the welcome page, only to hit the start quest button again?
Wow, lost way too much on the runway quest, don't think I'll try that ever again. Saggi isn't much better. I will stick with the old quests, at least there I get quest points, and a chance for morty cards. Also. I don't like the limit on buying on kumos. The npc asked for the same item 3 times, yet I was only allowed to buy it one time from the main shop. I feel like that limit, especially the once per day, isn't resetting each day. I'm noticing most of the quest givers tend to ask for a very limited numnber of items, and as others have stated, user inflation is getting way out of hand on some of the most commonly asked for items.

I also do this on desktop, the only difference is that to save a bit more time, I save on the favorite bar the start link to speed it up (ie https://subeta.net/quests.php/wizard/start) which kumos doesn't have.
For mobile like I've said earlier, its much faster I think start > shop search > buy > back > shop search > buy > back > finish
On kumos I find it easier opening new tabs as well (desktop), just not as faster. Don't like doing on mobile bc of what mentioned.
biting for all strains!
I have a friend who's been on Subeta for years as well, and I'm pretty sure she's told me she uses shortcut keys to open Shop Search in new tabs. That has never made sense to me. Opening new tabs that you then have to close? All I do is click the Shop Search button, buy the item, tap the back button on my phone (or ALT+left arrow if I'm on my laptop), and complete the quest. Everything opens in the same tab. When I'm rushing, I finish all of my Blue Building quests in less than 45 seconds, and there are no tabs to close.

I just came here to talk about the overall reception of the new quest system.
Honestly, I'm worried. I feel that almost all of the other users I've spoken to about it are largely unhappy with the changes. I'm worried that we, as a majority, are not being heard.
There are those among us who have been here for 15+ years and come online every day for the sole purpose of doing quests. I myself pay for a monthly subscription for the sole purpose of doing more quests, and earning more sP. I care very much about the site and am a long-time user. Honestly, if I feel that I no longer benefit enough from my subscription I will probably cancel it. The same could be true for the other long-term users who enjoy daily questing. I'm worried about the implications this will have on the site.
Let me be clear: I know that you guys are working hard. I know that the site, as it stands now, is a labor of love on the part of the staff. I appreciate the recent attempts at communication with the community as well, but most of us still remain worried and confused about the coming changes.
Please know that I am coming from a place of concern with this, as someone who has been on the site for over a decade.
If things carry on the way that they are currently, the site may stand to lose favor with its most dedicated users. We need more answers; more clear communication. We need to have our concerns addressed.
Most of all, we need to know what the point of this all is -- charging sP for items we previously could get for free (questpoints) feels like punishing the playerbase for playing the game. I've heard discourse about the goal in mind perhaps being to decrease the amount of sP people are hoarding, but I feel that this will have the opposite effect. Effectively reaching into the pockets of the players like this will only serve to discourage the people who dedicate their spare time to earning sP. Removing seasonal items and incentives may also exacerbate that.
I just cant wrap my head around what the intent is with all of this. It might help if we had a clearer picture of what your goals for the site look like.
Edit:
While I can understand the need to limit the amount of currencies on the site, I still feel that coming after the feature that keeps most of the playerbase logging in every day is a questionable choice.

I feel like Runway quests wouldn't be as bad if we could buy a couple more items from the NPC shops. Users are taking advantage of this to the point where it's getting silly.
Maybe have the low limits top out at 2 instead of 1. Possibly Gold Account users can purchase an extra 1 or 2.
I am being patient with these Kumos quests because we're testing things out. Our irritations include getting 404 errors when trying to buy items from the Kumos NPC shops even though there are some in stock when we actually go to the shops to look - this makes questing very difficult when we choose the quest option to use the NPC shop. Maybe Keith hasn't said anything about this because he is trying to find out why it is happening.
Saggitarius was paying out ridiculous sP rewards but adjusting this has made it go the other way where we are lucky to get our sP back even when giving him items which would get us 90K or more on the legacy quests.
Somebody posted a link that works to the Kumos Wizard's Quest Shop and I was horrified by the sP prices. A major use of quest points is buying books to read to pets for intelligence (jobs) and AP points (battling). At the moment newer players can earn quest points for extra books but they will forever be at a distadvantage if they have to pay a fortune in sP for them.
Also getting the error at Rumi's:
Error completing quest: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'subeta.user_shops' doesn't exist (Connection: mysql, SQL: select min(
user_shop_prices.price) as aggregate fromuser_shop_pricesinner joinuser_shopsonuser_shop_prices.shopid=user_shops.shopidwhereitemid= 186017 anduser_shops.closed= 0)
The "limit one per day" when buying is annoying if the quest are going to ask me for the same item multiple times a day.
I did the Runway Ready quests, the prices seemed a little inflated which meant the profits for those seemed a lot less than expected, but they were at least completable at this point.
I'm curious if all our banked quest points are going to be deleted or if the quest shop is going away?? I know we can now buy them with sp in this new way, but does that mean the other way is going away?
Just tried Runway Ready and that's working much better now (asking for items around 20k-60k each, and giving more sP at the end than I spent)

Still getting error for Rumi's quests today and unable to complete quest despite having all the items in inventory:
user_shop_prices.price) as aggregate from user_shop_prices inner join user_shops on user_shop_prices.shopid = user_shops.shopid where itemid = 135706 and user_shops.closed = 0)Runway quests seems to have eased up on asking for price inflated items today, and back to a reasonable range.
One of the things I miss about the legacy quest is that I could do multiple quests at the same time which really helps save time - I just open the search tabs and switch between tabs while they load, I'm used to the flow ... compared with the new system where I can only do 1 quest at a time, and the page loads are still quite laggy. I'm noticing that quests often take a bit more clicking around as well. Also miss having the option for buying from NPC and user shop in the same search.
