Just started testing these and had to "quit" my first quest today due to an item being fully out of stock on subeta :P wonder if this has something to do with the npcs asking for the same items over and over for everyone?

Item - Bloodred Mouse, is fully out of stock as of right now.

I know this happens very rarely with normal quests, but it's much more noticeable/disheartening when you only have 3 quests for the day!

I ran into the same problem with the exact same item - Bloodred Mouse. Had to quit the quest because it's out of stock across the entire site.

I tried to do the new quests today, and for Rumi and Mabel I got the Something Went Wrong error page for the last two quests. unclear if I got the rewards for those quests or not? but it looks like I did gain reputation for both of them. it doesn't look like the items I bought for them are in my inventory anymore in any case. but want to point it out, I saw some other players had the same issue. I didn't touch Saggi's quests, because I don't like him and don't care if he likes me.

something I like about Mabel's quests is it could be a way to remove some super common minions from circulation. I know it's just a game and these creatures aren't real, but I feel bad every time a Dandybunny follows me, and I don't know what to do with it. fragging it seems cruel, even though, again I know it's just a game. and I stopped visiting the bath house, because if I break my streak I just end up with way too many Caluckos. if Mabel asks for these minions then it just makes playing pretend on this site a bit nicer. like, awww, they found a good home. small thing, but just a thought I had this morning doing my quests.

and last night I was thinking about these changes, and beyond just the quest overhaul, I actually was feeling kind of excited for what the reputation feature could mean for future events. I feel like quests were meant to be an easy mindless thing to do to make some SP and circulate items on the site, not meant to be the main feature. I get that a lot of people are upset that their routines will be disrupted, but if these does lead to a more dynamic experience, then I think overall this change will be a good thing.

right now it still seems like it's a little buggy, which is to be expected when rolling out a new feature, but I am hopeful.

I like the fact that getting CSC from somewhere, anywhere, isn't going to just poof into thin air. However, can we still get morty cards from the Kumos quests as an item and then be able to redeem them for the CSC instead getting rid of them completely? The Morty Cards and the bath pools are the only method I have of getting CSC, unless I win cards from contests.

A suggestion for the Morty Cards would be to give them out during Masquerade for Random Dances. <3

Can we have the Kumos quests raised to 5 each? I like the idea of reputation giving more perks. It's a great incentive for users to do these quests. However, I feel that doing 3 quests per day would mean grinding away at them day after day like those achievements with such high tiers to get to complete.

I liked being able to hover over the items that are requested for the quests. It not only gave me the user shop price, but also the price in NPC shops but most importantly the rarity of the item. Now I can't tell if pulling the item out of my vault, shop, or buying it from user shops or NPC shops is the cheapest. I sell rare items for 13,000sP. Super rare items for at least 40,000sP and normal items I don't stock in my shops unless I can sell them for 7,000sP. So not being able to scroll over the item that is asked to complete the quest could be shorting myself of sP if I pull the item from my shop or vault instead of buying it cheaper from user shops.

Today it was confusing that the "buy from NPC shops" was in bold when there were none in stock. I did that twice before I realized that I hadn't actually bought the item and had to buy from user shops instead.

I was asked for the Bloodred Mouse twice today. It's R53 so it's very odd that there are none for sale in user shops. Is it possible it's not restocking as often as it should.

What are your thoughts about how Morty Cards will be distributed in the future? 5 CSC per week for one quest giver won't come close to replacing the average CSC users get from Morty Cards for completing all quests each day, which is closer to under 1 Morty Card per day. I have data on this, as I have saved every Morty Card since my return. It averages to 0.87 Morty Cards per day using a gold account.

Juuust a minor detail, but is it normal that I'm able to click those greyed-out buying options?

Question for you: Today I ran into an interesting problem with one of the items the sticker quest requested. (Bloodred Mouse) For my first quest, it requested it, and I had one in my vault, so I could do it, but there are none in user shops.

Bloodred Mouse was also requested as part of the items for my second quest, and as a result, I had to quit that quest, since I couldn't fulfill it.

My question/request: Can the items for these requested quests only be items that are actively either stocked in the NPC shops (like Bits and Bytes) or the User Shops? Otherwise it doesn't seem fair.

It looks like the Bloodred Mouse may not have been something that frequently stocks in general, and what there was may have gotten used up by being requested for this quest, and there are none in User Shops at all at this point. Is this a glitch, or intentional behavior?

Doing Rumi’s quest, I’ve been asked for Black Webcam three times. When selecting buy in user shops, I get the following error:

Error buying item: No query results for model [AppModelsUserShopItem].

When I select to buy from NPC Shop, it says Unlimited in Stock and allows me to complete the quest. I know it’s an issue with the Black Webcam item itself as this has happened for all three quests.

And of course, after I posted this, somebody who was hoarding them put a bunch in their shop... headdesk

Having this issue with a Saggitarius Quest. I checked each item to make sure it's in stock in User Shops and they all are. But I'm unable to complete the quest. Img Link to the Quest

I'm also having this issue with the Black Webcam specifically!

Thinking that this is a temporary duct-tape fix, and I see others mentioning it, but giving you a screenshot anyway.

I am still receiving the same error - and you definitely lose the quest you are in the middle of. 😩

If we have a discount card in our inventory, does this get used on this new system? Or in order to still use it, we have purchase it in the old system so the item shows in our inventory?

Can you give me more specifics, what did you do to get this screen? Which options did you choose for the items? Did you choose main shop, and what was the quantity?

As many details as possible helps me narrow down the cause of the error!

I got the 'Oops! Something went wrong' error during the first two Maybel quests I did, but I'm 90% sure the quest was successfully completed? I'm pretty sure my reputation went up and the 'history' thing makes it seem like everything went through fine.

[edit] Was doing a Saggi quest and it says 'Error buying item: No query results for model [tt][AppModelsUserShopItem]][/tt].' I was trying to turn in four user shop items and one from my vault.

Got another of those errors when completing a Rumi quest (all of them items bought from user shops IIRC) but it does look like the quest went through, at least according to my history page. Did another quest (all items bought from user shops) and it went through fine.

[edit] First three Wizard Quests went fine, then I got the same error I got with Saggi and the quest didn't complete, when trying to turn in two items from user shops. However I just tried again and it went through fine, and then my final Wizard Quest was completed with no issues.

Meanwhile, I still can't seem to complete this specific Saggi quest.

Retrying these - rewards seem a bit all over the shop. I just got 1,551,774 sP from a Rumi quest. I think the quest before I received 10k sP. I can’t check the history as it’ll only link to Wizard.

I'm having the same issue as gatorgirl at random when I try to complete a quest. The Oops! page appears and will only go away if I click log in, return to the home page, and then I need to navigate back to the quests. Mostly, it seems that the quest completed successfully.

This time, though! I had a weird run of errors with the Wizard Quest. I was asked for Manticore Sting and Phoenix Pinion Feathers. The first time I tried to complete, I got the error: Error buying item: No query results for model [AppModelsUserShopItem]. There were no options for buying either item except user shops. The second time I tried to complete the quest, the page simply refreshed and still showed that I was on the quest. The third time, I got the Oops! page. This time, it completed the quest, but it appears to have used 3 of my quests up while only giving me the reward the last time.

I wasn't able to get screenshots, I'm afraid.
