Hey hey! I finally dove into purchasing a new laptop for myself today! I'll slowly get back into the swing of things on here, at least more active a few times a week when I'm not working or too tired. Hope everyone is doing well and excited for these holiday seasons!

Got back at 1am from a long trip for a funeral.Another military friend passed away.He joined up a little after i did.There are no hotels/motels available as they are all full up.So i went home after all was done.I'm tired and bummed out...and messed up..feel like crap.Saw a few buds that came to show respect.I got more contacts/friends.. We spent a lot of time talking about old times and we did reconnect but this has sure rattled me.No dry eyes anywhere..Glad Lacey is with me.Covered 1500 kms.He passed on my birthday too.

Awww I am so glad Lacey is with you. I think you and your friends need to meet up on your birthday every year possible. You need to get some rest if possible.

It took us 3 days, 10 hours every day to go see my older son one way it was 1,949.89 miles. We did it driving, so imagine 6 days of driving to return home.

If you're like me you enjoy driving.A lot of my driving was at night,so there's a lot less traffic.I do need sleep.

I rather be the driver then the passenger. But hubby wont share the wheel. So I man the GPS, music, deck of cards and crochet. Make sure hubby has good coffee, sunflower seeds.

I'm going to go crawl into the sack....cheers :)
