I think one of the changes could be a stripe going down the boots vertically. What other changes would you think would work?

Also idk if this is intentional but the way you drew the spikes makes it look like they're facing downwards. It's not my cuppa ^^;

I like that change! And that's a great question. Maybe changing the hue for the boots and metal? That would be three changes... maybe changing the green detail to blue or something?

I think it'd make more sense to go for studs/nubs instead of spikes so the direction doesn't have to be at an (imo) odd angle.

Basically a variation of the first one where the spikes are shaved down a bit, I suppose.

1. Stripe down middle
2. Changed green hue to turquoise for steel details
3. Added dark sole at the bottom
4. Changed shape of the gold details
