Mine tinkered with a wobbly overhead fan, it runs smoothly now...
Maybe mine should look into the older chainsaw, n see if mine can get it running.
Plenty of firewood to cut up, mine can't always rely on electric or elbow grease.
"Mine tinkered with a wobbly overhead fan," I bet your hairstyle changed from fixing the fan.
a smol update
I had a CPAP consultation appointment yesterday. I have sleep apnea and I had a study done 8 years ago which showed severe apnea (I was 253lbs at the time). Since I've lost weight (I was 155lbs at the start of September, but packed on 35lbs), the doctor wants to do another study and see if I still need a machine, as I told him mine is dying. CPAP's generally don't live beyond 5 years, so mine is 8 and still functioning as of now (it prompts me the machine has exceed its life and there's whistling from the motor). He listened to my lungs and said I have asthma and he can tell that all the cigarette smoke has made it worse and said it's a good thing I'm leaving the apartment.
He's going to try and have the study done in August, but there's no promises. He also measured me and I SHRUNK!!! I'm shorter. I used to be 5' 3" and now I'm 5' 2.6". The joys of aging.
Anyway, as you read, I have decided to leave and move back in with my parents. I'm gonna have a b**ch of a time, but I can't stay here. I've given notice for the end of August. My workplace doesn't know yet because I'm waiting for the routes to be finalized after we had the start up meeting and they can't put me on a different run without going through the union lol. The start up is last week of August and our mock runs (aka "dry runs") are on Sept 2 only and back to work on the 3rd.
I'm slowly starting to pack. A dog walker in my parents' neighbourhood offered to come and help me pack up next week. She said she's done lots of moving, she's great at packing and between the two of us, we can have everything packed, except the large items. She want's nothing in return. I even offered her dinner and she refused ;-;
Nah, mine cut the power before even starting. That's basic electrical...
An mine also finished filing down an 18 in chain to refit on the older engine. Which worked out fine, the testing showed no trouble. The other needs to be serviced, tho mine could research the starter ripcord winding...
