Wanted to do something a bit androgynous, and inspired by a recent trip to Tokyo, because the mid-2000s Harajuku mall-goth aesthetic is still super popular in shops aimed at a younger audience, and they are right for it, because the aesthetic whipped in 2006 and it whips in 2024.

My theme was pirate! Definitely challenging as a lot of the items onsite that were more on theme were vastly outside the limit given (the holiday rarity Corset Hats for example, the brown was what I wanted but it blew 145k of the limit LOL) but I had a lot of fun pulling this together <3 It's nice to see everyone participate and see this uber rare sticker being distributed again!

Tried for a realistic, but also unisex outfit that had a decent mix of Common through Rare items. I know that if I had seen "Rare" show up in my inventory, for free, way back when I started, I'd have felt super lucky and extremely happy.

Something simple and getting ready for summer!
What a fun idea! I didn't want to go overboard, just something simple with items that are easily used with other outfits, but I did want to introduce layering so I put on the trenchcoat and coat back. It felt strange using the salon again after using nothing but wigs for so many years.

I tried to make an HA similar to the ones I made when I first joined Subeta. (I must have worn that O_X T shirt to death - it's retired now but I'd like to see it make a comeback, haha) Also wanted an outfit that was a bit versatile - can leave off the jacket, swap out accessories. Pretty sure Thatch was one of the default hairstyles, but I'm not 100 percent sure because it's been a minute since I used the hairstyles instead of wigs.
