- have you tried one of the non-Audible platforms yet? I keep waiting for my hubby to make me an account with Spotify but he has yet to do it. Men. XD :D
- Oh, no, I didn't mean I didn't enjoy it. I actually enjoyed the twists at the end of the second book. I wasn't expecting some of them so it was a real ly good bit of entertainment. I've started on the third book last night and so far, it's not bad at all. What I was tryihng to say earlier is that it takes all types, that's all. :D β€
I listen to open.spotify a lot, so without an account, just on the web. Also the various audio podcasts of magazines like clarkesworld and escape pod, and uncanny, and lightspeed, and so on, where it's reading short stories to you just like an audiobook. Basically I try not to spend money on it, just, listen :D
ah randomizer is way more effort than I want to put into choosing. I look through the list and pick one that seems appealing at that moment. Just now I opened up "Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries" which is pretty good so far.
- I didn't realize they had a free option. Hubby didn't tell me that. :/ I do my darndest to not spend money on Audible. I listen to a lot of their free offerings as I figure they're getting enough money from others. ;)
I'm glad you're enjoying it! ^0^ The third book is good, kinda slow, but it has a nice spicy scene in it π
Ooo I'm going to see what that one is about ^0^ I love anything to do with faeries π
- See, that right there highlights the differences between us in what we look for in stories. You love the spicy scenes whereas I love the fighting and battles. ;) I do like the way she builds the relationships between each character. She's very good at that. :D
honestly don't know how i woulda handled them in this house when they were little but the house we were in.. everything was all clustered together. just a headache but i did get 4 pages of sky stuff done; koroks, sage wills and a couple of the starry thingies i need to take pics of

do you guys have a long way to go for 50?
ugh cleaning is boring. But I see through your clever disguise of being boring. I know you are a criminal mastermind just waiting for the little ones to be asleep before you embark upon your fiendish plan and set about chaotic destruction MAHAHAHAHAHAHA -hacking cough-
Lol yes only at 8 so far xD hopefully we live that long
There are some cheaper weapon sets. There is a guide somewhere let me look for it and I'll send it your way <3
thank you for finding me any help/cheap good weapons
and I think everyone looks for something a bit different in reading material, and every writer does something a bit different, so it works out that there's good reading available for everyone, even if there's no one book everyone likes! heh
Sent on discord hopefully that can help some :)
- Yes, exactly. One interesting thing that I've noticed while reading this series is that I pay more attention to my hubby's emotional side. That can be a little tricky because he hides his emotions beneath a grumpy exterior. It's helped me understand how different people react to the same stimuli differently. It's also helped me recognize when my hubby is being loving and romantic in his own, grumpy, way. I've been with the man for over 21 years and I'm finally beginning to understand some of the things he does. :D
The battle scenes are really good too for sure! You will really like book 3 then since you love battle scenes! Aww that's so wonderful you're able to see those things now π <3
Oh wow! You're moving along so fast :O Makes me think... Maybe I should've done it the way you did. Doing everything on each page before moving along instead of just doing Koroks :O
shifty eyes How did you see through my disguise? more shifty eyes

So very true! It's wonderful how many different genres there are out there ^0^ I added that book to my WL btw π I was like yup, this sounds wonderful I want this π How are you liking it so far?
- it's good to know what's coming up as right now they are doing nothing but talking. I don't mind interludes like that but there has to be some action to break it up. I'm looking forward to the battle scenes. :D
that's so lovely about your noticing emotional things about your husband! Cute!
so far I am really enjoying it. It's very original, at least to me (as in I don't think I've read much if anything with this kind of style and genre blend), and so far has the kind of slow buildup and character notes I enjoy a lot.
its helping but i still have much to do before i am anywhere near 100%

If I remember correctly the battling happens more towards the end so you still have a bit to go I think π
It sound so great π And the cover is seriously so beautiful. I don't usually judge a book by it's cover but it's so nice not to π
I feel you π I checked last night and I have 502 Koroks dies Still a ways to go! LOL! I worked on those last night and took a break from reading. Back to reading tonight though XD
