Tails, neck ruffs, masks, hair ornaments, ect inspired by beautiful birds such as the peacock, secretary, victoria crowned pigeon, nicobar pigeon and the eurasian hoopo. It would also be neat to have masks and such inspired by beautiful insects and bugs such as the orchid mantis, spiny flower mantis, picasso bug, coastal peacock spider, rainbow grasshopper, peacock butterfly and pyrops candelaria.

Ornate turbans like these:

Spooky masq vibes could be fun too, like with the:

I would like to see mix-and-match 18-19c dress uniforms!

We do have a smattering of uniform coats and related items (I think I could name them all)—but I often find myself trying to use them and failing. Most of them are statement pieces; if I have a particular cosplay or historical look in mind, they rarely 'read' right (because they're fantasy-influenced, or very loosely inspired, or closely inspired by a different source), and they're generally too complex to be adjusted with layering tricks.

What I really find myself longing for are 'base' coats in one of the typical cuts (morning coat? tailcoat? single-breasted jacket/tunic? double-breasted jacket/tunic?), maybe some matching trousers/breeches, and details as separate items. There are so many options:

There are many excellent references online, plus endless Osprey books; you could keep going back to this well for years. I believe that the results would be both fancy and versatile, appealing to history buffs and fashionistas alike.

(I'm not even getting into historical uniform accessories. Dress swords! Gorgets! Sabretaches! Pelisses! Leopard pelts! Absurd hats! Not that you would wear a hat to the ball; all of Ziara is indoors...)

I play irregularly, so it may take me a while to get back to you

Oberstkatze as a battle challenger! [preview=Oberstkatze Filled Stein]

The Panzer Hydras lack a medium-level challenger and I think Oberstkatze would be a great addition in that role.

the bug idea might make for better vesnali items? specifically because there's a precedent already with the framed specimens and fashion sketches: so having something similar but with more colorful bugs would maybe make more sense for esther's. i do think there being masq-specific items in the same vein would be cool though! insect masks of a similar quality especially, since the framed specimens aren't really proper masks.

I'd love to see like some server type outfits or body mods, I feel like they fit in with the masquerade theme. Like tuxedo jackets with the HA holding a serving tray or some type of arm body mod that makes it look like your HA is holding a serving tray of food so we can have fancy waiter/waitress type outfits

more gowns obviously and shoes, some good stiletto heels would be nice.

Do we have a dapper octopus? I can't recall, i feel like we need a little wearable octopus with a monocle.

More masks that can be held vs being worn, Not on a stick either but maybe just the mask itself could be held in the HA's hand.

Ballroom or dance floor backdrops, Chandelier items, Backdrops with a spiral staircase that the HA can stand in front of.

More wearable helper bots or other types of wearable robots,

Someone else mentioned items inspired by birds and I would really like to see some vividly colored hair and back/tail pieces that are inspired by birds! You could do peafowl and Crown Victoria Pigeons and the like in jewel tones and pull from tropical birds for neon/cyberpunk. There's a lot of vivid colors there and I love tying feathers into other types of clothing.

We can always use more ballroom (historical) backgrounds. The ones that are accessible currently have the HA cutout in them, which is a layering nightmare for me and a handful of others who use leg mods often.

So something like these, but without the pesky HA cutout:

I'm even down for an actual background of the Libertine Lounge or the Historical Ballroom. I agree with another suggestion of adding some chandeliers or some wallpapers and carpets so we can make our own historical room through layering.

Another suggestion would be a sleeve/arm mod holding a mask to the face? Something like this CW I commissioned: but with Masquerade style masks?
