I have a question concerning the Ballista. When using it, it's listed on SubetaLodge as having a 20 percent chance of doing an "Alternate Attack" which is pretty devastating.

My question is, is this chance the same for all stat builds? Does speed have any impact on it? Does anything else have any impact, or is it always 20 percent as far as you know?

It does seem to activate pretty often, so I'm thinking of bulking up on strength and riding that for a while. Just wondering if I should also worry about speed (besides potentially adding a critical to an alternate attack, which is incredibly devastating).

As far as I know it doesn’t have any scaling. Just in case, I gave it a test drive with my early T12 pet and didn’t see any noticeable difference in the second attack activating. I assume any stat build should be fine :D

I am going to go hide with my tier 13 pet on Alpponz! 3 tries and 3 losses. :( I am using Gelatin Slayer and the MW and blockers, blaster, Mecha, Shards and healers and The Void, ,Rage of the Paramnesia, Terra Focujin, 3 x Forj and he hits me with something and I am gone on the third round from full heal! Light blocker on two mod slots also.

Block. Lots of Dark + Physical + Earth blocking, with some occasional Light. I can't get a third win for the life of me, but first was Cronus Blade + Maniacal Essence with crit + physical defense crystals, second win was Maniacal Essence + Maniacal Slappy Hand, gemmed the same way.

Additional weaponry wasn't terribly important I don't think, aside from Soma Tablets and Recycle Blaster.

woot. win was cronus + gelatin slayer. made a maniacal slappy hand with my core and used MSH + GS with 6x/ phys defense marquise 1x/ light defense marquise and 1x/ dark defense marquise.

gelatin slayer+maniacal slappy hand works very well since the slayer bypass the healing limit lol Thank you for providing that advice!:)

I got Shinwas Lightning from the fanciful box. Not super impressed with what I'm reading about the stats - is there a strong reason to keep this?

can I ask what scrolls you used against the hydra? I just got 1 win with gelatin slayer and MSH

strength of paramnesia for constant, rage of paramnesia, and 2x the void. 196 AP total. used phoenix quill/reviver of the lion/rainbow vortex as well. you need a bit of luck to not get critted too many times then i had all of those to bail me out and help get me back to the safe zone after a crit. if you want to borrow anything let me know!
