Hey guys!
Where is this happening at (i.e., just the forums, wardrobe, all over the site)? How consistent is it (i.e all items all the times, same items all the time, just randomly sometimes, etc)? What browser is it happening on? Have you been able to check on another browser?
I'm working on this now, thanks for the report everyone!

Our image hosting service is having some issues again, and is currently working with the hosting service to get this sorted out!
Just popping in to reiterate previous staff posts since they seem to be getting lost: we are having problems with one of our hosts. knows and is trying to get it resolved! Hang in there.
Unfortunately, the ball is in the host's court -- not much we can do about it, ourselves, at the moment. We're stuck waiting on their support.
Images should be fixed now! If you're still seeing broken images, please try clearing your Internet browser's cache.
Hey everyone! I posted what is going on in the news, and I'll give a little more technical explanation here as well.
When you make a request to Subeta, it goes through multiple actors before it makes it's way to our servers. It goes like this
Your request → DNS servers → Cloudflare (CDN) → Load Balancer → Subeta Web Server
And for images
Your request → DNS servers → Cloudflare (CDN) → Amazon AWS S3
That CDN stage (and soon we'll be switching out Cloudflare for another provider) caches all of the content that isn't unique, so things like images and CSS files. It caches that to its servers around the world, so if you're looking at an image that has been cached on that server before (and the chances are high!) you'll see the cached version so the request doesn't need to go any further.
So in this situation when S3 is no longer available, the cache still has most images on the site. Over time (they're only set to cache for a limited amount of time) more and more will fall out of the cache, and you'll start to see more broken images. Fingers crossed this time Amazon responds faster :(

This is to let users know staff are aware of the broken images. Keith is looking into the matter.
