The Festival de la Luz is one of the most anticipated events for the people of Costa Rica. The event, held in downtown San Jose, includes floats parade, masquerades, live music and fireworks. Because it takes place in December, the Festival de la Luz is associated with holiday celebrations in the Costa Rican capital. Its colorful, creativity and lighting details make it one of the most beautiful attractions in Costa Rica at the end of the year.
