:3  Going to cut up and cook down a couple pumpkins tomorrow with my dad.  I feel he needs a chill day (work been stressful for him).

We're going to have Thanksgiving at my Grandma's house this year.  She lives with my uncle (dad's brother) who has to have dialysis and will have a surgery a few days after Thanksgiving (he wanted to put it off until then).  She.. worries.  She doesn't like to leave the house worried that something might happen to my uncle (he's had issues before).  (She does, just.. not as much as she used to)  She can't do/ doesn't do most of her old hobbies, so she watches the news mostly.  That plus dementia-like issues (that some of us think is because of one of her medications..).. yeah.  My aunt (lives across the street) doesn't have the greatest relationship with her brothers, but loves G-ma and helps her out.  She worries about Grandma.  Part of the dispute of siblings is how best to help G-ma.  ...*sigh*  I've watched my dad's and his siblings relationships deteriorate over the years and it makes me sad.  I wish I could help, but I don't know how.  I wish I could help my Grandma, but I don't know what to do.  ...She's my last living grandparent... I hate that I've been to so many family funerals over a little over a decade that I've lost count...  And I hate that .. I'm already thinking about how everyone will react when she passes (may it be many many years in the future..).  

... *le sigh* ... you ever wish more people in your family would talk to someone professionally about their issues...?

To all the Veterans have a good day .. I never liked hearing happy veterans day its not a happy day really most of us lost friends, comrades, and many people in there lives who after they came back from war r definitely totally.different person and their families don't understand and leave them and cause more harm then good so if u know a veteran help them if they need it

Hugs I couldn't have said, it better. sock in the arm I find today a sobering day of loss, and thoughts of our fallen and their families. I cant celebrate fallen comrades in battle, but I remember them. I can only celebrate my good memories of them as it should be, because they dont want to be remember any other way.

ok so this is not Adam this is wifey/mindyjane/amanda I'm not really on Subtea much anymore so Im in his account posting this. He is in the hospital as he would say long story short his guts are all messed up and he is now diabetic on top of other things (still working through all of it). SO I have set up a gofund me for this round again as hes in micu via the er. has had insulin going solid since he walked in almost and antibiotics as well it is also mostly for easy updates. I am now running my own sub shop (yeah the popular one that will toast your food) but unfortunately I am on limited staff so Im there open to close m-f and we arent open on the weekends (plus add in extra hour a day for bread and then 2 other hrs a week for the admin side of it) do to this its hard for me to make sure everything is updated everywhere. I was at the VA one day there a 99 year old WW II Vet there his appt was right before mine so I was entering he was leaving so I ask how he was doing and was very honored to shake the hand of a WW II Veteran he started to tell me a story and the nurse said he has to go it's time for your appointment, I said let me stop u right there he is a WW II Veteran and if wants to tell me a story gd..
