Tbh, I see it as If you own a business you do as you want and see fit as long as it’s running. This is why people hire employees, which by the way UAs on Subeta feel more like friends, which is amazing.
I think the way you word things sometimes is very insensitive. Because sure, you want Keith to post…for what? Idk. But you’re also diminishing the UAs job. They relay things that need to be relayed and solve things that need to be solved.
Sometimes, the world isn’t black and white…you gotta just take your losses and keep it pushing. I know this isn’t the first time you’ve made a complaint, but maybe it would be wise to think if each complaint you have is actually worth making a forum about.
In all honesty... I think we're past 'being nice' at this point. Like how long is this kind of behavior going to be OK'd? Deliberately looking for faults in the site and staff, and creating passive-aggressive threads after another ( 100 and counting) to nothing but complain and throw accusations. People have tried being nice and constructive about this but it is time to stop! Spreading endless negativity should be a big "NO" . . . We don't need that here.
Do not ping me.
, it won&;t hurt to give a small heads-up to the shoutbox in order to get players more engaged.
Not his job anymore!
That would be Galaxia's job, and I'm going to say that they're excellent at communicating through the userbase via different ways!
Huh, I've only rarely seen Angelina posting in the SB. Where does Galaxia post?

I don't post in (or follow) the shoutbox, honestly didn't realize it was even still a thing here..., But Galaxia just recently posted in the forums here; ">https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/931704/Pawn-Shop-Missing-Items/1/ Plenty of communication from staff here, so I don't see the lack of transparency you seem concerned about.
The SB is not a good way to post important information posts because posts only remain there a few minutes. Galaxia mostly use the news and the forums to give information, to make sure that most users will see it. If information was given via the SB, lots of people would miss on it because of timezones and the temporary nature of the shoutbox.
Most users have the SB widget disabled. But pretty much everyone can pay attention to the site's front page.
Look, there’s a lot of things that can be said about the site that lacks, and sure Keith isn’t always the most active. But if he didn’t actually care for subeta? He’d have shut it down a long time ago.
Everyone is entitled to real life time, especially while battling a virus like Covid.
I may not agree with everything Keith has done, and right now I’m not the most active, but give the man some damn respect for keeping the site open even though it’s costing him more money to run it than it’s making. That’s something he doesn’t HAVE to do.
We’re at least fortunate enough to have an owner that still cares enough to keep it running and trying to fix things. Sure it’s slow, promises have been broken sometimes, but it’s still open. We all still have a place to escape to.
Let the man get some rest so he can beat the evil that is Covid.
I don't really see how this thread is productive or constructive, and putting expectations and demands on a site owner based on other sites/personal preferences and suggesting they're not needed isn't really "site feedback". Keith and the many different folks over the years have worked together to keep this site going since he was a kid. A lot of us have grown up participating on site and have watched it develop and change across almost two decades, for better or worse.
Sure, Subeta has plenty of room to develop and change more, but Keith ultimately owes us nothing. He could have shut down Subeta ages ago and pursued anything else he wants in life. This is a virtual pet site that's meant to be a fun and creative space, not a commercial product.
So what are some constructive suggestions for improvement? Any creative solutions? Otherwise this thread is not a great contribution to the community. In fact, I was drawn in here by the ugly title on the forums homepage so it's really just a click-bait, "I've been told..." yeah ok.
There are plenty of valid complaints and concerns to air out, this forum is filled with them and conversations are happening in productive ways. Twitter and Discord are used for more communications from the Subeta team. I do agree that there are big gaps in communication that can cause issues and unhappy users, and I hope to see ongoing improvement in that area.
I have also seen the efforts to keep us as up to date as possible, when possible. It's not like we get nothing at all. In my experience, the disconnect with communication is a problem in every environment where people are involved (doesn't excuse it, just a reality). The Subeta team works hard to address concerns and improve the user experience across the site. I'm grateful for the efforts being made and I look forward to being part of the community as it continues to improve and grow, hopefully for a long time yet.
I'm sorry you're not enjoying yourself here, OP. Have a nice day!
Loving you is easy because you're you ❤ Be kind to yourself ✨
Merry Holidays

I understand that Keith doesn't post as often as some of the other staff members, but the thing is... he works on the backend stuff. The coding, the programming, whatever you want to call it. I don't think being snippy and rude to the staff, and Keith in particular, is going to get you what you want. The site's code is old, it's bound to have issues. He does his best to fix things in a quick and proper manner.
Apart from that, he's allowed to have a life outside of Subeta and like was mentioned before, he is currently ill. The rest of the team do a pretty good job of keeping us all informed on what is going on. I hope he gets better soon and personally, I hope he chills a bit before jumping back to working on stuff right after feeling better. I'm sure he will need time to recoup.
