didn't really have to go through much of town, the store was like right there and it was busy, same with the gas station. but the upper part on the hwy was closed except where emergency crews are staying at the hotel

that sounds terrible but I agree about the pain medication with Colorful, doctors have told me "stay ahead of the pain" as in if you keep it from getting too bad then the medication is more effective...

yeah. I’ve made the mistake of trying to not take pain meds before and it was horrible. I’m still pretty stingy when it comes to using them lol so I’ll probably set an alarm for the first couple of days

an alarm is a good idea. I use my phone alarm to remind me to do all sorts of things, from online game timed events, to taking medication, to putting the trash outside for pickup, to even using it for waking up the way it was probably intended!

It is hard to write long paragraphs on the phone. I am pretty much exclusively phone use now. Hope everything goes smoothly

Such a sad thing going on in Alberta! (And for you and fam) We have the smoke haze here today and our news is finally talking about the fires there. A few days ago I told hubs about your fires and he's been tracking our winds here. Oh the news just said our air quality is moderate but further east and closer to you they said the smoke was a lot worse. :-( I love the top!! I'm loving Queen Charlotte! Although, it might feel boring to you as there's a big element to the fashion of the time period. I was talking to my friend that lives in Bath (where a lot of Bridgerton has been filmed) and she mentioned another movie that I can't wait to watch called The Madness of King George. And House of Cards has crossed my radar and I need to not forget to check it out.

No the hubs hasn't bothered and I haven't had time to contact them yet but I plan to give them a call tomorrow. Ugh!! I know you know how bad I hate calling businesses!!! lol

I watched House of Cards for maybe 2 seasons and lost interest. It's not that bad but it's very slow paced on telling its story, I feel like, and I got impatient/there wasn't enough stuff I enjoyed in what they did show, maybe.

Yeah its not easy at all. I plan to try to make my island cooler whilst laid up. Today wasn’t a great day for that though.

yes the air quality is pretty bad.. yesterday morning it was pretty choking. this morning isn't much better but it blows out by noon. just the wind also isn't good as it then fuels the fires.

I am sorry I vanished and I just want to get back to doing my life again and not being so depressed. well the smoke is bad today, its quite dark already and orange but Valleyview has been allowed back in with an alert now. so hopefully some stores will be open tomorrow. it is calling for rain for sat, sun, mon and tues so i hope we get lots
