I have to show restrain, because I could easily fill a semi full of books, problem where in my house would I put them. I she shed/she library with a big lamp and a very comfortable chair and big enough my dog Ronnie can sit with me.
: I'm back to writing today, I have read 18 books this year so far. I got the Libby app for my Kindle (a freebee from a random supporter) and downloaded all the Green Ember stories, the Ashton Burials and the Wingfeather Saga books, as these are similar to my stories. Wow, reading on a Kindle is fun! Getting free books is fun too!

I'm starting two books currently, Taggarung by Brian Jacques and Eon by Greg Baer.
Its deep winter, a big storm is coming Wednesday, more snow predicted. The wood bins are all full, the food stores are full, the Watchers have been out checking on all the citizens in our community to insure everybody has food, fuel, water and are healthy. Weldon has been helping old Otter in the large kitchen downstairs to bake up extra bread for toast and Master Sparky Wheezle, our PM, procured 20 lb of fresh coffee from the human coffee roaster. ( he traded some very valuable local ginseng ) We are ready for anything. All we need now is cookies and more books.

Sometimes I'm just sad and in a funk I can't seem to get out of. That day I was doing fine (aside from not eating all day, which probably didn't help this..) and had a lot of energy somehow, and just found a cute dish of mine with fond memories had part of the images on the side destroyed accidentally and.. it kinda just threw me off. I told myself it's just a dish and it was an accident, but I was kinda stuck in the bittersweet memories and.. it took me a bit to get out of my funk.. Reading some fiction to get away helped some.. But running from bittersweet memories tends to make me forget even the good parts sometimes and I don't want to lose memories of myself, even if they're not all that great.
On a cheerier note, I've found walking through malls to be fun sometimes, but my wallet not so much.. During the warmer months, it can be nice to try and get up early to walk my neighborhood in the crisp morning air.

Oh goodness, I love the smell of books too. Old books, new books... <3 I'd work in a library if they didn't require such a high degree to do such a simple job... Alas, here they have fewer librarians than they used to because of the self checkout machines.. Even when I want a human, I'm directed to self check out... :(

I can understand not being able to leave a bookstore without something... Just the other day I really shouldn't have, but I left with three new comic books from a used book store nearby. :3
(yes, I put comics on the same level as regular books.. They are just as good, but much shorter, like teasers.. :') )
One of these days my sisters and I (live together) are going to fix up the den enough to have a small library out there. ^_^" Each of us has bookshelves in our own rooms and we figured it could save some space to put it all together. One sister (coughcaliecough) has bookshelves on every wall of her room except the closet and her bed. lol Our parents turned us into book nerds at a young age.
Whoa! So many books read already? :) Impressive.
(sometimes I have trouble focusing, and I still haven't started the book my sister recommended a week ago...)

: I was given a Prime account whenI was given my Kindle by Mr Wold, our human "manager." I've yet to get any free books, but Weldon has. He reads books on history, military theory, sociology, economics and all the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic comic books.
: Little stinky weasel-girls need a bath every day. Mommy had to boil water everyday in the copper out in the laundry room. It was my job as a child to clean up after everybody's bath.
The watercolor is of me as a toddler, Daddy, and a young Watcher named Weldon. Welly was assigned by the Woodland Council to be my guardian because there were several attempts on my life already made. Weldon is undercover as my Daddy's assistant. Thank you so much for your very sweet compliment.
Comic books are amazing, they are the best of two worlds, words and art. My favorites are the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic series, vintage Spiderman, vintage Superman, vintage Batman. I like Manga too, like Azumanga Daioh, Made in Abyss, Inuyasha, to name a few. I've got digital versions of all the vintage Hawkeye and All the vintage Guardians of the Galaxy storylines, but I've yet to read those. Don't let anybody tell you that comics are anything but awesome. Graphic Novels even more so.

Is anybody following the old Survival Tradition of wearing the minimal amount of clothing to show off our skin as we become infected, or in the case of little weasel-girls, remain infection-free? (because we are immune to human/zombie infection for some reason.)
I'll change out of my rain gear in solidarity of those who are proud of their skin...I'm just going to look naked, that's all. (mind you, I can't really be truly naked unless I get my fur shaved....But Subeta's perception filters don't show my fur, only skin....it's one of the weird things about me being here.)

does anyone or have a pic of all the lair bears wearing the Candlelit Lantern? Better if anyone can find the HA I shared? I moved my outfits around and I thought I saved every item I used but when I redecorated my HA I realize her hair is gone, idr the hair I wore.... I deleted the HA already so rip XD
