To be fair, since it was OUTSIDE the game, we do not know for certain it was over the game. But....it is likely as it was during/near the game. I can't imagine either :( Its crazy.

I didn't even attempt the last 4 of them - the shark one was hard for me, and I haven't gotten him 10x yet. I have done him 3 or 4? I am hoping to get to 5 on him at least, if not to 10 like the others.

I checked my classes, the teacher loved my book review (I love teachers that grade stuff quickly!) - the other assignments I turned into the other class are still pending, and there is still no way to turn in the last assignment for the creative class, I am wondering if it won't open til Thursday, if not I'll ask her about it in class. Then I logged back off as I was not in the mood for reading for school. Even tho I have two more chapters to read and quizzes to take. I know I can do them pretty easily.

Still.. that's INSANE. And so incredibly sad. :(

VENT WARNING

Soooooo. Ryan (my now ex) is being very annoying atm. As you are aware, he decided to pack up his stuff and move out of his rental, and SAVE money to buy his own property/house later. AND he's already said he'll "help" pay for Nathans car insurance, assumed that by "Help" he would be paying whatever increase happened when I added Nathan. So. I have also gotten Nathan an appointment set up for his driving test and called Ryan to arrange to borrow the Jeep as its smaller than my xterra and the mazda is a manual so we are NOT testing in that. Even tho he is driving it. Nathan wanted a smaller car. Ryan is all hedgy - Oh no you can't have the Jeep, no you can't. Well you can't. So finally he tells me WHY I can't have the Jeep - HE NO LONGER HAS THE JEEP. Traded it in, for a LEASE of a brand new Honda Passport (yes, 2023 new). NOW - ok, the Jeep was in his name, he can do what he wants, its his $ anyway. BUUUUUUTTTTT - he KNEW Nathan wanted to use the Jeep for the driving test. He stopped renting in order to SAVE $. AND then he went and traded the Jeep and has to PAY $500 or so for this per month to LEASE it (not BUY!!! AFTER YEARRRRS of saying he'd never lease a car, he would only ever own them) - and is SPENDING $ he was going to save. So this irritates me, as now Nathan cannot use the Jeep (he is test driving the Passport to see if it feels small enough to drive comfortably for the test) AND Ryan has ALSO expressed to me that he only said he would "HELP" pay for Nathans insurance, he is not going to pay ALL OF IT (ok, like I ASSUMED I guess but if you did it for the other kids why would you not for this kid???) BECAUSE - get this - because Nathan is not going on HIS insurance, why should he pay it??? UMMM? Because its your kid and you make more money than me and he has to have insurance and you basically said you WOULD????

My Apple Tree/Person puppets - based on a song we did last month for apple theme (Way up hight in the apple tree, 5 red apples looked down at me, I shook the tree as hard as I could, down came an apple, it was good!) LOL My clown doll made into a marionette (now I have to take it apart so I can put it back on display in my LR LOL)

And the bat pumpkin we made in class for our Second Saturday Downtown Griffin - all elementary classes in the county were given a pumpkin to decorate and they will be placed out to decorate downtown for the second Saturday event We had tons of blue and black paint, so decided on a bat....The kids helped us pick out our pumpkin and I had them help me paint it. Most of the time the pumpkins are done by an adult - sent home with one of the kids then it comes back, but the last few years me or the teacher have been doing it because none of our families were into volunteering much...(or else the teacher didn't want to ask anyone I am not really sure to be honest) Then I made the eyes, mouth and wings, and hot glued them on.

Ryan is an ass, and yes, he definitely should be paying at LEAST half of Nathans car insurance. And if not.. maybe it's time to find someone pro bono who will help you sue for child support and alimony, since he's the one who wanted to leave. :/

The problem is that I probably cannot pay for half of it. Most likely anyway. I don't know what it will be. But I'm very limited on money. VERY!!! He knows it. And he has also said "if there is ever anything you need you know I'll take care of it" Ok yea right you've long since proved that wrong this past year and I feel I've fried not to ask for too much help....trying to make it on my own as much as possible. I don't know how much he will pay until we know how much the increase will be. I'll be calling soon to find out I didn't do alimony 1. He said he won't pay it(yes I could fight for it and probably get some) BUT 2. he gave me the house. So I kind of consider the house my alimony ... Like he could have just sold it out from under me. It's only in his name. Or chose to kick ME out of it instead of leaving and letting me stay/have it Anyway I told Nathan that he would have to get a job and help pay for his own insurance most likely. He said he was planning on it anyway I try not to be negative about his dad in front of him. But the kid is perceptive. Got to love him. HE knows I am short on $.

I had a hell night last night So I drove down to get my brother to fix my thermostat so the Xterra won't be cold in winter. Nathan put in coolant before I left and checked the oil. Yay me. Taking care of the car before a trip. Left around 415pm. Well. Nathan apparently did not put the lid back on the reservoir right. It blew off and an hour later the car overheated. Ryan did come to the rescue. We got a new lid and cool and and water and he got me running again. This was between 5-630. I pulled off around 9 to get food (too upset over it to eat earlier then there were no food places anywhere on the road). Turned the AC on and put the windows up to eat. 15min down the road the car overheated again!!! Brother to the rescue this time. Didn't finish my 4hr 15min drive (according to Google maps) until 1230am At least in Macon it was daylight and I was at a hotel I knew (the one Katie's youth group does the yearly meeting) so I was comfortable waiting I was dead on the side of the freeway waiting on brother. When car cooled enough to crank and go the last mile to the next exit ..I was in a very deserted area. Thank goodness there were some street lights but no buildings!!! It was a bit creepy Took brother an hour to get to me. Put more coolant in. Drove to his house. Could not fall asleep. Ugh feeling myself.

Hi !! My last couple posts are my most recent life news. Nathan getting his driver's license soon and now me having no car....

Oh it's worse now! So while trying to get a part off to replace it, my brother broke the aluminum frame thing. So now he has to find another of those and wait for it to get here. So now he is taking me home with no car. So glad I have the Mazda still but that was not the plan!!! Because while getting the thermostat off, he discovered the radiator was bad/yucky too and we ended up spending at least $500 on parts altogether between what he bought first for the thermostat plus what I bought.... He decided he was going to replace the water pump since the radiator and thermostat were so bad. That's the aluminum part backing that he broke, the thing the water pump/timing chains go on. Says he has to replace all the timing chains now too since he has to replace that frame... Disaster zone. No idea how much more that will cost. No idea where I will get more $. The $ I just spent was part of the insurance for the siding and windows but I need a car!!! I can replace what I spent within a few months but not if I keep spending it!

And thanks for being annoyed for me. It annoys me too which is why I had to vent. Can't vent to the only other living person in my house yanno?

Lucky Nathan doesn't seem upset by not getting the mazda all to himself just yet. Brother says maybe a month before I get the xterra back, since he'll only be able to work on it on weekends and has to find the parts and get them first....plus if he can't do it, then he'll have to get someone else to do it instead...so yea. FUN. NOT!!!

Nathan wants to go Thursday to speak to a manager at Firehouse for a job application (he has a friend who works there who said come in that day lol) So I guess we are doing that Thursday. Also he has a dentist appointment Wednesday and that day (Wed) I am swapping out the mazda for the passport (Ryans car) so we can practice in it before the test Friday.

[edit] 625am So last night around dinner time (I went to get the mail as Nathan didn't on Saturday) the neighbor was outside washing her car, so I teased her that it would just get dirty again, and then she laughed about that, and then started talking to me about did I ever think about getting my own driveway? Umm no? Its always been a shared driveway I'm used to it. I don't care. She apparently doesn't like it. Even though she bought the house KNOWING it was shared and thinking she'd be ok with it. She doesn't like "people" coming up and down the driveway.... she wants to put in trees to line the driveway, all the way up, to separate the houses more. She wants to put a gate in down at the bottom of the driveway so no one can just drive up. The only people that come up the driveway for the most part LIVE HERE? Except delivery drivers???? WTH??? I'm sorry I have a life and I drive up and down the driveway, or that sometimes my son's friends do as well to get him to school or come see him. Or that my older son has someone bring him home or come visit him sometimes. I said I would be willing to LOOK INTO IT...but that I probably would not be able to do it, because I'm limited on income especially after the divorce. She said she understood having a low income. THEN talked about how before her husband died they had a 6 figure income and hers dropped.... and about how she's kind of like a house flipper and probably will sell this house in 3-4 years....

So I'm walking away after the convo thinking, WTH? If you are leaving in a few years anyway, screw off and leave me alone about the driveway and just deal with it, you knew going in that it was shared. So now I'm a bit worried as I don't know property laws and she's the legal owner of the driveway but its always been shared ever since the place was built, so its like, right-of-way? But I don't know how legal that is??? She's all like, just have them dig out the ditch and remove the dirt. Like what, you just want me to make an entrance and then drive across the grass all the way??? Then said something about how she probably wouldn't do anything about the driveway (like the trees and the gate) for at least a year anyway, even tho she WANTS to do it all NOW.... REALLY? Whatever, if you aren't even doing anything about the driveway, why should I?

Heck yea, there is a TON of stuff I'd love to do to my house. And the outside/yard. No, money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you things that make you feel happy. Or make your life easier so you feel happy. So only in a matter of speaking can it buy happiness :P The money itself, no it doesn't buy HAPPINESS. That comes from within after you've spent it :) (*thats my philosophy on "money can't buy happiness") <3

I'm sure she is thinking of future buyers, but if SHE bought it with a shared driveway, surely someone else would too. I also think (looking back at other things she said) that MAYBE she feels my yard looks junky? Like, ok, its not HORRIBLE, but I do have a picnic table (bad condition, a swing (decent condition) out in the yard itself, plus my riding mower, trailer for it, and other random things that have NOT gotten moved no matter how many times I've asked the boys to do it....(ladder, old grill, some old battery for lawn mower, etc LOL) all up under the oak tree in one spot tho. Then my porch, well it has a pretty box on it, that I keep tools and other random things in it, but I also currently have two push mowers, a weed eater, a leaf blower, two grills and some other random things on the porch/porch area. (SHE has a pretty chair/table set with a RUG under it on her porch, with a nice flower arrangement on the table) All along the fence line is more junk. Stuff that needs to be hauled off or put in the back house. I don't bother to weedeat some areas because all the junk is in the way. SOOOO, since she was babbling about how she'd love the yard to look all pretty like some houses up the street (and I said, oh, like landscaped??? YES.) Sorry. My yard is NOT landscaped, never will be, I can't afford that. So its never going to look super pretty. And I don't think putting a line of trees in between the houses is going to hide my stuff. :P GET OVER IT. This is home ownership. You cannot control your neighbors. Ask me nicely to clean up the yard and I might manage to get some stuff moved. (since I want to do it anyway lol)

[edit] 1015am on the 12th eyeroll Big Time EYEROLL for two things. So.

1. Ryan called, said he would probably come get his car today, and get a hotel in Griffin. I commented that doing that defeats the purpose of me switching cars with him so I'd have his car here for Nathan to practice in and take the test on Friday. He comments back that he wants HIS car - and that he can come get Nathan and Nathan can drive HIM around and HE can take Nathan to do the test. UMM??? I asked Nathan, he wants ME to drive with him for the test. Ryan will likely be an ass about it. Whatever. sigh

2. I signed into check my new school work and saw I had grades posted. Finally. This teacher takes forever to grade things sometimes. I got a 0/20 points on one. I checked his comments. SO - background - he posted way earlier, multiple times he wants DETAILED INDEPTH information on all assignments, unless "I ask for definitions or numbered" Well - this assignment directions said to "list" five items.... So I listed five items. I did not go in depth. It said to make a LIST!!! His comment was that he has asked for indepth and details multiple times before now. WHERE are the examples? Where are the explanations? UMM??? IT SAID LIST? I know that "numbered" isn't the same WORD as "List" but to me they mean the same thing??? SO I emailed him. Thanked him for his feedback on my assignment, explained that the instructions had only said to "list" so that is why I did what I did, and that I now know in the future that if it says LIST he still wants INDEPTH and DETAILS sigh Again. Whatever. Not like one 0 will kill my grade, I've gotten 100% on all but 1 other item (that first quiz, where NONE of the questions matched the chapter info - I got 6/10 questions right). (also you would think that me getting that 100% on most other things would give me a bit of leeway on the ONE assignment I've done wrong? But no - he probably didn't bother to check and see if I'm one of the bunch of other students that is consistently writing short answers - understandable if you have hundreds of students, but still annoying to ME personally).

And congrats Nathan! We don't get to see our scores here, but not signalling at the parallel parking is an automatic fail, which is kind of crazy IDK.

Honestly, no one ever parallel parks here. Every time I've seen someone get into a parallel parking space (we don't have a lot, but some, on certain streets, which are NOT busy) - the person just PULLS into the space. Just like I do :P We do not do the whole back up and turn the wheels and get into the spot thing :P UGH? Auto fail for no blinker? It would have been an auto fail if I said one word to him during the test. They do this whole virtual thing now. They put a camera in the car facing the road, called me, I had it on speaker phone, tho Bluetooth in the car would have been ok too (Ryan was trying to set that up but ran out of time before the lady came out so we did speaker phone). We did the short little bit in the parking lot course, then went out to the street by a back way, down to the red light, down the street to the main entrance and back into the parking spaces. Less than 5min ON THE ROAD ??? I really thought it would be more. BUT ok! Also but - Nathan learned to parallel park on the first go :o Like I tried to explain in words. he said he didn't understand. So i thought about how to say it again, then told him to get out of the car. We went to the back of the car, and I physically parallel parked my BODY into the parking space I created in teh school parking lot with cones. And he said. Oh I can do that. And did. :o I did make him practice it about 5 more times to just be sure. But yea. He did fine. Maybe didn't get close enough to the "curb" but he was inside the spot. And he passed it during the test except for the blinker thing, so he did good.

And thanks (Watercolor) LOL I went pretty basic I guess. Like, EVERYONE does a flower vase. But I just had no idea what to paint and that popped in my head, so I did that. The others that were there, one did an abstract sort of like I did with the fingerpaint, one did a fall tree in tempera paint, one did an abstract of swirls of colors/mixed colors with tempera paint, the last one painted a sign, "live laugh love" and then drew a fruit bowl (on paper) with the pastel chalk lol We had our choice of material to paint with as you can tell. Two girls even brought their own paint as the teacher said we would be limited on colors to what she had in the room and we could bring our own if we wanted to.

[edit] 10/19 @ 625am Oooh my 4th class starts today. I'm tempted to sign in this morning just to look LOL Have in person class tonight as well. That teacher told us last week that she will no longer be our teacher after this week :( She got a new job and they won't let her part-time at the college (like, not even do the online classes) How rude. I mean honestly, if someone wants to still work as a teacher why are you not letting them? But ok. Whatever. So the lady who is doing my new online class is the new in-person teacher. I am not sure if she will be there tonight (I THINK that she is going to be? I can't remember if thats what was said or not for sure). Also I signed up for the boss's bbq (principal) - it used to be a yearly tradition then fell by the side during covid, but guess he is bringing it back. He/office staff does meat/drinks and everyone else provides sides/desserts. So I signed up for cookies and got a shock when Nathan said he wanted to go. Its the Friday before Halloween. I do not plan to stay long, as its outside and I'll be freezing. Even WITH the bonfires he always has going.

Ooooh, that sounds like a cool tradition! I do love a potluck.. even if I don't normally eat much other than what I bring because... I'm too picky for my own good.

Did you get to meet the new teacher yet?!

Ahhhh life has been busy haha. I've been working 5 days a week for the last 3 weeks, plus I've had meetings almost every weekday.. and then Fridays are generally football, Saturdays competitions, etc etc etc.

Except last weeks got cancelled due to the rain so.. we all stayed home. And it was marvelous.

Today is work, food share, then football, followed by driving two hours to a competition tomorrow night and getting home at 11:30 or so, then Sunday probably skipping church, then there's a charge conference that i'm supposed to go to at 3 (which I like.. REALLY don't want to), and the kids have a concert at the college at 7 but like.. you need to get there early for seats!

Speaking of which, I need to go pick up candy bars or whatever, for El and Lily, Els friend Colette, Lilys friend Matt. Everyone is actually IN the college except for Lily :P

BASICALLY I'm just busy and waiting for life to slow down a bit! Though I am enjoying working 5 days a week, really? Just.. not much time for errands!

No, I thought that she was going to come last night, but guess I was wrong/misheard. So I will meet her next week. I have had her in online class before, but I've not had in-person ECCE classes, so never met anyone til this class.

It is a big change, when you work all week and have to adjust to not having daytime to go do errands LOL All my stuff is done on Saturday mornings now. why are you getting them all candy bars? (or whatever?) LOL

I am not sure? I've peeked at her now & then to see if she'd been on, since she had not been talking in here lately, but had seen some posts so knew she was ok, but haven't looked in a while as I got crazy busy with school and life stuff.... Hope she's ok.

Well since this has nothing to do with TOT I came back here. But today I am on a roll with the schoolwork. Phew. Have done 3 assignments in one class, two assignments in the other, and am working on a third. Still have two other assignments to do in this class. (one of the completed ones was a work ethic so it took 5 seconds to complete :P )
