Ahhh yeah, mother nature also visited here.. but they were both glad it was this week, and not next week when we're on vacation! Since she ALSO decided to visit while we were on our water park vacation. headdesk

Ugh. I do not not not not not like this class lately. For one, the teacher emphasizes correct grammar and spelling, and constantly makes spelling and grammar errors himself in his directions, THEN he is a bit vague on what to do for the discussion board and never responds to my email. NOW he told us to go to "page 297" and look at the "red flags" and discuss if we've ever seen any and how we brought our concerns up to the parents (or how we would, if we never have) .... There is NOT a page 297 in my online book. sigh Usually the page numbers he has given us for reference have just been a page or two off, but the book ends on page 250something. sigh Another email sent. Hope he responds this time. I wanted to do his assignments first since it was only 2 of them vs the 6 for the other class. But nope. Can't do that one. So I go to find the article for the last paper/assignment. He has mistyped it, so it does not link directly to the correct article. I go on the hunt instead and find it. Thankfully he DID include the name of the article in addition to the link so I know I did find the correct article. sigh Now I have to figure out how to write the paper. A page and a half. Of do I agree or not agree, why or why not, with whatever the article says. Not sure I'll be able to get a page and half but I will do what I can.

Well, this vacation will also have water! Just not as much as the waterpark. Well.. maybe?! Actually, I don't know if I ever discussed our plans? We have two day tickets.. so we thought the first day, we'll go to the Hershey museum, and to the conservatory and gardens. Then to check in at 4, get our cabin ready and swim a bit before we can get in to the park at 7 with our preview passes.

Next day we'll go to the park in the morning, and either the water park or just to the campground pool in the afternoon before going back to the park. Next day we have to check out, so we'll go to the park, then the zoo, then maybe back to the park, or maybe just home, I don't know yet :P So.. that's our vacation!

Yeah, that would.. no thank you on the red eyes :P AND on the class, that sounds super annoying!

You are having a lot of vacations this summer :) So glad you get to do all that and have fun. Can I come be one of your family members? LOL I told Katie about ya'll and how you play D&D and board games and do fun stuff ---> she was saying how she wanted to move north so she could have a Husky LOL ---> I was like, ok yea, go move here and you can live near my friend, and they'll play D&D with you and her kids are only a little younger than you hahahaha!! She thought I was funny :P But she would get along with your family great I think. (Katie will be gasp 22 in Nov - how did that happen?) I have no clue if she ever will move north or not to be honest. I cannot see him being that far away from his family (her boyfriend). But you never know.

Almost done with quests. Doing Quentin. Then I have battle and drills (sorry for bombarding you with drills gifts lately but I've been a touch bored so doing everything again)

EDIT HOW did i miss that they put out new pherret beanbags and plushies? I mean, I saw the color revamps and all, I just didn't notice they put out new plushies. I got the silver pherret plushie from Quentin. Now they are added to my wishlist and I'll be buying them soon :P Especially the cheaper ones! LOL

Yeah, we did Great Wolf, and now Hershey. I think it'll be fun, though! We did two two night/three day vacations instead of a week somewhere, and they're also part birthday/grad/birthday presents haha. So that helps, too! :P

I've done wiz and now working on saggi. I didn't play at all for like, two weeks (after I broke my bathhouse streak, again!) and the past few days I've been trying to get my quests in!

I think its great. No need to be overwhelmed or stay so long you get bored, just enough time to play and have fun. Like for something like Disney I think I would want a whole week, but a smaller place, 2-3 days sounds good. I was done with Jamaica after 3-4ish days, we were there a whole week. I just wasn't into the whole "watch the late shows" thing, nor all the "drink all you want" thing. I did love that it was all inclusive, could eat or drink whatever and however much you wanted, could visit all 3 resorts and see shows at all 3, go to beaches at 2 (the small one we stayed at had a public beach, not a private one), plenty of pools to use, and other stuff. But for me, after a few days it was all the same. I still enjoyed myself since we stayed longer but would have been happy to leave as well.

I liked long weekends (3-4 days) when we would go visit my mom, time to visit family, time to visit the beach, time to go to places like Shrimp Fest or Fort Clinch (depending on what's going on when we go). I would like to go stay for longer than an overnight visit. But ... dogs. I told my mom to put up a runner line in her backyard and I'd bring Belle to stay in her yard and I could stay longer hahahaha Cats are easier to deal with for having someone come watch them, and I could find a hotel that would let me have Skittles probably, but I would not want Belle in a hotel. The only thing bad on that is that Skittles does NOT like car rides. she whines and moans and shivers and shakes and runs around like crazy. I think she never rode in the car until she got brought to us, when her original owner gave her to us. So she equates car ride w/ abandonment is my feeling

Yeah, we did Disney for 10 days, and that was good! And a week a the beach, always fine for me.. especially when there's not other people sharing a house haha.

Oooh yes! We've brought Bella and a run line with her to my parents before, and my in-laws. Thankfully Connor is going to come and stay again next week, and take care of teh dog, cats, and rabbit. It's much easier than anything else has been!

Oh yes, if I had a place for the dogs and a place to stay (and could afford it) I would gladly stay longer down by my mom. The beach is awesome. My neighbor was very nice and took care of the animals for me while I was gone overnight since Ryan "had plans". :P But Belle always worries me since she is a big dog and can be protective. The neighbor said she was good, and while Belle didn't let her touch her or anything, she was able to feed/water her and talk to her w/o Belle going crazy. Good thing the neighbor is used to a big protective dog of her own lol Her Molly is a lot like Belle.

Awww. yeah, fi you could take her to your moms, that'd be great! It'd really work things out well then.

I love the beach! But not like.. I hate virginia beach. I don't want beaches that are more just.. IDK. more boardwalk than beach? I want it to feel at least a little bit wild and ocean like. I want to connect with nature!

Boardwalks are nice yes, but totally! You need BEACH! The main beach down on the island has a small boardwalk - but its not like one of those hyped up super crazy "boardwalks" if you know what i mean, like with all the games/vendors etc. No, it is just really an actual boardwalk to walk on, and its not really that long either, like half a mile to a mile of boardwalk along the dunes. Several gazebo areas too along it.

I like going out to the area by Ft Clinch tho, there is a pier you can go walk on (I don't know if I could now, with my fear of heights issue, but my mom made it out there one time by holding onto a grandkids shirt and looking only at thier back LOL) she loved the view once she was far enough along it that the pier spread out and she wasn't looking down There is also this great area closer to Jacksonville that you can drive on the beach, I can't recall what is is called, but its always a very calm area to swim in, so thats nice to go to also.

Yes, like, a boardwalk is fine, I just don't want it to be all boardwalk and like.. not beach. Or like.. just all sand and commercialism? Maybe that's it. Less commercialized!

Oooh, you could drive onto the beach at Daytona, that was the first time I'd ever seen that and it was SO COOL. And you'd think it would have been crazy, but it wasn't, it was so nice there!

Huguenot (not sure I spelled it right), that is what it is called. funky name, no wonder I couldn't' remember lol Some areas are crazy for when people drive on them, there is actually a beach on the island you can drive onto, and another area has a small drive-on parking area, but you have to have permits to do it there, and they prefer 4x4 vehicles only - i have seen so many cars get stuck. And once, some idiot parked too close to the tideline and didn't move their car when the tide came in...omg. that was insane to see, I felt so bad for them, but honestly, they should have been more careful! Edit: yea I don't like to walk on the beach in front of the condos/beach front hotels. They have all the beach chairs and umbrellas up for their guests and all that - its not horrible, but I like to walk on the plain old beach thank you.

Yeah, I think I'd only want to do it with 4x4, we went in my aunts jeep when we were there.

We don't even drive our CAR car to the fair, because it's basically a mud field. :/

Yup. I think the car I saw in the water was a mini van. Its been a long time so I'm not sure I remember right. Might have just been a car of some sort.

Oh hey, I was doing battle quests and I got to 23!! :o wowee. Did you see the new adjustments they are making to battle stuff? I don't think it will affect me really, but it will be nice to have the opponents reset so I can get all the xp again! :)

edit Random Event The Wizard needs you to Help him out! You gain the buff Extra Quests which gives you 1 bonus quest with wizard!

aww yes! extra 70 wiz tokens. Been vending exclusively at Ocean Depths when I remember to vend. Not likely that I'll get a riptide but meh. I get cheap stuff no matter where I vend anyway and thats the best thing to come from vending. That is what I want, all the legendary weapons to be re-released or easier to get. I want to make all the genetech combos for them and get the achievements. :P Not likely to ever happen.

We have a nissan.. something tiny. Versa? And then the town and country, and a big ol chevy truck haha. So we try not to take teh car if it's rainy, snowy, muddy.. etc :P

I don't mind drills, when I have nothing else I want to do. Only Leviathan Harpooning, and slots bore me. I do them anyway. I don't like feeding my pet (but I have been doing that since all my foods are like 1mil plus for my gourmand!) and I never can play with my pet, so I refuse those ones.

I do count battle as part of my quests, mostly because I want to remember to DO them, for the xp! Sheli is tier 11 now. And 3k points is a LOT to go through for the next level up. Next tier in 3685 points

Oh wow, I still have LOTS of cheap foods to feed him. But I've been so far past the achievements that I forget to do it, sometimes haha.

I wish-listed every food he had not eaten, sorted them into categories by price range and then bought 10 a day (or sometimes up to 30 a day depending on the day) of the cheapest foods and fed him like crazy. So now this past month I've gotten to the 1mil per item food range. I think I have like 20 or less food items under 1mil but they are all like 900k or more lol I am also well past the achievement level. But figured since I'd gotten that far I may as well keep feeding him all the foods on the site.
