- Choose your mother color hue. Can be your fav color or something more challenging, take your choice.
- Pick a complementary or clashing color hue.
- Mix the two colors together, for example giving the 2 hex codes into a designer like this one here: Color Mixer
- Design a HA with these 3 colors and depict the corresponding emotions like stated in the color wheel above.
- Post the colors and emotions together with your HA.

I just went ahead and used the color wheel above and then used colors directly from it. facabd (pink) distant 29b369 (green) powerful e76e24 (orange) scared Outfit Not Found As I created this outfit my mom was messaging me. Last week she really drained me. I still haven't recovered. I am definitely [I]Distant[/I] out of self preservation. When I read the prompt again it said to select a "mother hue" which is ironic because my mom wants to take over my life. She desperately wants me to co-regulate her emotions and feelings. I don't even have the capacity to unpack any of her emotions. She needs so much more [I]Powerful[/I] and skilled help than I have or am qualified to offer. In reenforcing boundaries I have been afraid of not being supportive to either of my parents. I'm [I]Scared[/I] and always have been of what my life looks like without them. That fear has binded me very close them. And, unfortunately, at times has not ended well. Time to breathe and take it one day at a time...

I picked a more denimy blue 'cause I'm a denim girl. (thoughtful, responsive) From the wheel I feel most of the oranges (insecure, anxious) a lot and strive to find the blues.

Alright! I picked green, because it's my favorite color. The opposite of green is my least favorite color, red. Mix those you get... brown. I decided that orange was closer to brown than pink or purple. Which turned into this!

I had to go with pink and blue, those are my two favorite colors, and the purple they make is a nice addition.
