I've got a total of five eggs from my G1 Sandsurge pairs that will hatch in a few days. I hope I'll be able to sell them for gems to help make up for what I invested in them but if I don't have any luck with that, I'll offer them to the group here for free.

I was going to propose Spectre to add more fire to your fiery fire dragon, but then I scried it, and...why does the fiery gene turn a weird brown when applied to the color Fire? That's less than optimal, innit. (I know, it's probably supposed to be "ectoplasm" or something based on the name, but it really suggests flames to me.) The Thundercrack gene and Fishbone look pretty cool with it but those wouldn't pair equally rarity-wise. You know, I think Augment looks nice... (lmao, I would say that, right?)

Those are so pretty! They really look like they're cut from sapphire! Soap is such a good gene. I sure wish we could use multiple terts; I'd pair that with Augment so fast...

I love the Augment gene! But it only looks good on certain colors. For some reason, a lot of the colors are dingy for the Sandsurge, which ruins the Augment and Spectre genes. Soap fixes those colors for the most part, but all THREE of them are tert genes. Such a shame. Fire would have been amazing with Spectre had they been drawn properly. :(

P.S. Your HA... ROFL! Did you go to see both?

Yeah, unfortunately Augment really only works well on dragons with lighter primaries, otherwise the details just get lost. I'm not sure how they could realistically resolve that without ruining it for other colors though. It's my favorite gene ever and even though it only works in certain situations, I'll take it! The biggest problem I have with Sandsurges (as I've complained about already) is the lack of good primary/secondary genes, especially Metallic/Alloy. It has lots of amazing terts but I love Augment so much I haven't been able to use the others.

Lol not yet, but my son is flying back tomorrow to visit for his first time since moving to the other side of the country mainly so we can go see Oppenheimer together. I haven't mentioned it yet but I'm going to suggest we see Barbie too and I think he might go for it (as long as I'm paying haha). It's not something I'd usually be very interested in (it wasn't even on my radar until I saw the Barbenheimer memes everywhere) but I've heard it's actually a pretty good movie. This weird viral marketing is so good, I somehow feel like it's part of the complete Oppenheimer experience even though that makes absolutely no sense at all lol
