A memorable event for me is we had my grandmother's memorial. She passed away last December, but we waited until the Spring so hopefully more people could travel and we were hoping more people would be vaccinated and it was around her birthday. It was mostly food and looking at photos and sharing memories, which was nice. My cousin did give a speech, but it was fairly short and fairly upbeat overall, though people did cry of course. But it was more of a celebration. I was really close with my grandma, so it was a good way to remember her. And I have some more photos of her in my collection now because of it.

Wow, that sounds like a wild time! Were you unable to leave during the lockdown, then, or was it just easiest to sleep at work?
